i havent been following the whole league, mainly just the braves...

they had a 10 game home stretch which they went 7-3 I believe and then went to pittsburgh as the start of a 10 game-10 day road stretch. I posted on the MLB site that I thought they were a good price and they won.....

now i know a lot comes down to pitches etc.....

but im thinking if you have a team that has just finished a home game stretch and the overall record was 7-3 or better and the other team has a bad last 10 game record then that makes the travelling team a good bet, as they are confident. obviously need to check on starting pitches etc......

but only the 1st game of the road stretch would be a bet. after that, you need to do more checking on stats, pitches etc.....

im going to look into this a little bit more and see if the stats can help as to whether its a viable system or not...
