Interesting Multi-bet for FIRST SCORE

I was experimenting with first score bets ....

Basically, picking three games where I thought it was more likely for the favourite to score first.

I chose as a test, Adelaide, WCE and Geelong

I bet on all of them scoring first, either a goal or a point....
This means there are (I hope so) 8 combinations

To cut a long story short, a $4 on each one costs $32 all up...
As long as the three teams score first, you get between $109 and$133

I thought it was interesting!

Cost = $32

I thought I would test it out with both two, and four teams.

Two teams doesn't really return much. Obviously it's an easier bet BUT you're only doubling up.

Image
Cost = $16

So let's try four. Obviously a long shot but eh.... makes for interesting reading:

Cost = $56

Obviously getting four right is hard.. BUT it's not a bad return :)

Just like you get a reasonable return if you take a multi on which teams will win the toss... :?

a lot more random though!
I bet if you look at the stats, Adelaide and WCE would score more often than not before their lower ranked opponents.

i like the idea DISS, and again im thinking a boxed multi could be the way to go, load up on the doubles, and trebles and have less on the quaddies or more etc.

thats where i like my centrebet account for boxed multi's.....

you should check the betting firms that bet on whos going to score first ( centrebet, sportsbet and sportingbet do for sure and im sure theres probaly others)
so it would save you having to put on so many combinations and im pretty sure on most occasions it would work out better odds.
West Coast to score 1st tomorrow are $1.75 at Sportingbet.com.au and Centrebet or $1.70 at sportsbet
if you were to take it at the tab
west coast goal is $3
west coast point is $3.25
so the best u can hope for is the point and would only work out to just over a $1.60 return if your taking both, so therefore the first score options are better off for you

so hopefully that will save you some time and make you a bit extra profit

You cant take punitabs odds and expect to make any money here...... stay away fellas...... your virtually betting on who gets the first centre clearance.... one bad ball up and your gone..... not for me when you have to take $1.60 - $1.70 (big unders- punitab).....

Verdict: PASSING

I guess my point is that I don't believe it is that much more random. And when there are particularly one-sided games, they change the odds accordingly.

Results for the three way.

Well, Adelaide, Geelong and WCE lived up to expectations and all scored a goal.
It was the less of all the bets but it's a result.

Can you get to the match day live after a game has finished? I can't find it if you can..

still a handy little profit.

if you use games at the Phone box of DOOM would you have a little more on the goal being the first score, since its likely to be played indoors????

if u try your luck again next week on the same sort of bet, you should definately do the option of team to score 1st
for your $32 investment u would have got odds of all those teams scoring first just over $5 so your return would have been around $160
