gdp,

r1 top pick is 10 but i wouldn't back it in the red from this draw, for multis 1,2,8,9
r2 chances 1,3,7,8,9,10 in an open race
r3 i like 1 as an e/w or place special other winning hopes are 7,9 next best 3,5
r4 4,5 on top with multi hopes to 1,2,6
r5 chances 1,2,3,4 with 3 on top
r6 chances 1,2,3,8,12 (i dont like 12 myself from h'cap)
r7 chances 1,3,7,9 with 9 top pick
r8 4 to make amends & win from2,3,5
r9chances 3,4,6,7,8 with 4 on top e/w
r10 i would think 4,9 would win, while almost the entire field could sneak a place, personally i wont be betting in this

suggested bet(s)
r3 no 1 e/w or place
r6 no 2 e/w (dont take it less than 7/1 as can do things wrong)
r8 no 4 win

betfair lay
r6 no 12 (for reasons mentioned)

good luck on the punt
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

MALS PREVIEW
------------------

Im gunna show some arks and preview this meeting.
This is a rarity for me, but since the Gambling room is inundated
with extra viewers Im gunna give a one off preview
Naturally I waited for BAYMAN to go up first
SCD are you still previewing these days ?

RACE 1
[10] THE JUGGERNAUT
keeps winning but as the experts tell me the barrier 10 over 1800m is a hard gate to win from,
likely to be long odds on and may not be value
dangers in order 2-9-1

RACE 2
this is a tough race
maybe 7-1-8

RACE 3
[9] BADBOY NITRO
resuming from a spell and is the best horse if ready very hard to beat
[7[ DEEP POCKETS
never runs a bad race appears the big danger if the fav is underdone
[1] PICATIME drawn to be a place chance

RACE 4
[4] BROTHER MOON
I was excited seeing its run last week when a terrifc 2nd
plenty of pace in the race and if finds a cosy spot early is a terrifc EW bet
[5] ANVILS JUST FINE
would be cherry ripe now and can improve on its 2 wins this prep
the barrier is of great consternation, but too good to leave out
[1] UNIQUE BABE
A malpet last prep , if leads could be a ew chance

RACE5
very tough race to assess
many chances
perhaps 1-4-2-3 will be the best chances, but they could all win this

RACE 6
[3] BILLYBOY
gets into this trot nicely and will be hard to toss an EW special
[12] STEPHANYS HANDSHAKE
is a better horse, but much consternation over the 30m handicap
1-7-2 have claims and best of the rest

RACE7
very open competitive race, all can win, even the bolter CULLTON has claims
[1] JETPILOT is flying high for the place in this

RACE8
[4] PETES ELECT
beaten shorty last week when driven as if it was PURE STEEL
the distance of 2230 was the big detriment last week
Back to the 1800m should be the difference this week
[5] MCGINTYSMYGOAT
delightful horse but the barrier is a problem
[3] ALZONA
consistent has place claims
[2] VIRGINIA STORM
has trialled well and could be the smokey in this

RACE9
[4] PERFECT BONUS
this is harder but a chance if gets a softish run
[6] SAFE RIDGE
is a non chaser of late and needs to driven expertly
[8] JOHNNY DOIKA
can shake the living daylights out of this if fires

RACE 10
the hardest race of the night
every horse has a concievable chance to win this
[9] CELESTIAL VISION
might be the best horse and has HARDING looks EW
dangers all of them, could be a roughies race

The LATE MAL later

LATE MAL CHATTER
-----------------------

R1-10 THE JUGGERNAUT
well everybody is risking this gallant horse
ADIOS ANTHONY/JJAQUES/BAYMAN said not if in the red/ DANNYS DARLING
all racing experts have declared it some risk
I will go with the flow and leave this race alone by consensus

RACE 2-9 VINTAGE KHAN
this is an EW roughie tipped by ADIOS ANTHONY
I concede that it is a hope as well but a hard race
I WONT HAVE A BET IN THIS OPEN RACE

RACE 8
the LAT MAL is that PETES ELECT is a far superior horse to MCGINTYSMYGOAT
the scratching of [2] brings PETES ELECT in a gate slot as well which helps
THAT INformATION makes it a LATE MAL selection

LATE MAL
------------

R4-4 BROTHER MOON [$3-20]
EW on its slashing run last week

R6-3 BILLYBOY [$3-00]
trotting race is always a worry
and the [12] is a better horse but nearly handicapped out of this race of 30m
I was impressed with BILLYBOYs narrow defeat last run
EW

R8-4 PETES ELECT {$2-20]
was driven like an open grader last week and was beaten
tonight has the immeasurable talents of David HARDING steering + that makes a big difference
WIN

Good luck all
Where is the SCD preview/comments ?

PS the paper prices are spot on this week

IN VIEW OF RECENT DISCUSSIONS HERE ARE MY TOP 5 DRIVERS IN SA

1 DAVID HARDING the superman of the sulky
2 RYAN HRYHOREC most improved in the last 12 months
3 MARK WEBSTER a superb steerer of horses

They are the top3, many would consider WEBSTER 2nd best but for mine Ryan marginally

4 ANTHONY ROBINSON rarely gets the accolades he deserves
5 WAYNE HILL I think he drives well, but others on this forum dont

X SIMON JONES steering inadequacies but tactical nous and the bravado
to try in his races that others wont, is he the best Junior reinsman ?

Thats my views
So I would take the EXACTA
HARDING with HRYHOREC/WEBSTER boxed

Stampy - it's not a case of being peed off as much as last night I sat here - tipped 5 selected bets for 4 winners only to be heckled by a few users who not only don't know enough form to put up a preview but aren't happy with $1.60 or $2.80 winners...

So even though a few forum users asked me not to give in to these jibes - I decided rather then to try and give everyone a little hand with their exotics etc and those particular users an oportunity to finally back a winner with my selections, I would keep them to myself and allow these other users to do their own form and selections..

I didn't put my preview up so as per rules of the forum - no bragging, but to the people who PM me - hope you've had a good night and i hope it gets better from here!!

MAL FRAUD OR FAB
------------------------

STS I just had a lucky night like the previous 10 months
Why not compliment SCD his tips were very very very good friday night as well.
Most of my tips I bludge of
BAYMAN/SCD/J JAQUES/DB/TRACKMANSCOTT/TEE/DANNYS DARLING/ADIOSANTHONY and some others.
I am merely an imposter who CHEATS of better judges than me
Im like a Broker, I assimilate all the tippers and utilise that inFORMation.
In essence I am a fraud
but FIG at what I do.

BLACKBOOKERS
--------------------

BADBOY NITRO
was under the whip a lap to go and is a horse that needs stoking up[?]
Wayne HILL threw everything but the kitchen sink at him and the horse just got up
It was rooted on the line, but a great performance by the horse and reinsman

IONTHEBALL
this horse was tipped to me friday night by ADOIS ANTHONY on its good 2nd at Gawler
AA told me this horse has improved and is ready to win
BROTHERMOON and ANVILS JUST FINE are very very good horses quinelled the race
However did we see IONTHEBALLs last 100m when it absolutely flassssssssshed home for 3rd
Its best run since coming from the west
It was a stunning run and one to follow and as usual AA was on the ball with this one.

THE JUGGERNAUT
won from barrier 10 at the 1800m trip, say no more
HARDINGs instructions of late on the champ is to not fall out the cart and it wins
Last night the horse and the superman of the sulky were brilliant

STEFANIES HANDSHAKE
of the 30m put in a brave run to beat BILLYBOY who had all the favours
settled worse than midfield, took the death and grounded BILLYBOY into submission
that was a massive effort and a star trotter

Mal is a very good tipster and it's great to see a full preview.. But I'd suggest asking Mal to keep it up isn't something I want to see!!! much rather see him continue to provide the winners he does on a daily basis...

Thought there was some real value was to be had last night, thought that Virginia Flight (in Bayman / Mal's tips) paid really good @ $5.90, Jazzstar (in Bayman's tips) @ $10 (only $6 on super tab) and Pete's Elect (in both Bayman and Mal's tips) @ $1.90..

R1 - big watch on 6 this stable - but usually take a "run or two".. 10 should win.. but 1,2,6,7,8,9 can place

R3 - 3,7,9 the main hopes from 1 then 2,6,8
R4 - 4,5 and 9 the only real "free for all horses" and only chances
R5 - 1 e/w special (should hold 2 early and hand up to 3) from 3, 4,5,9

R10 - one out of left field.. i've been told to follow the stable at the moment.. so 2 a long priced e/w special from all except 3 and 5 - i'll back 2 e/w...
