has come on season and Bob Issacson has decided to call it a day with this
wonderful frontrunning hound
had about 70 starts for 30-35 wins what a strike rate
SWEET MATT
an old favourite of mine has finally retired
winner of about 36 wins and 37 placings in a fabulous career
has been trained by COTTON then GINIOTIS
once went to victoria for about 10 days and sent back as a NFG dog !!!!!
SM won the 2004 Sires produce stakes
SM won sprints and up to 600m
owner John MCALLION had a great dog
the dog was named after his grandson Matt

I once saw a dog called OBEDIAN SAL run 4-28 many years ago, but never made the grade
GMD was greyhound of the year in 2004

this meeting is on a monday night
so there is no actual Gawler night form to assess

vice chairman/secretary Bob MAY does a great job with the operations there

3 SCULL MURPHY.....$2-80 a MALPET and heat winner in 30-56 has pace if clear early, chance
4 EMERLEY REGAL....$8 speedy but needs to lead clearly, consider
5 COBALT THUNDER.$7 jumps well could surprise if finds the front
6 KACHINA POWER..$14 no speed , but will power home late, place hope
7 LUCKY TRUMP.......$16 poor draw and will fall out, place only
8 KEEP TOKEN.........$17 lacks early speed and perfer others
Looks like either [2] EC or [3] SM if get a clear run will win
However I think they wont quinella the race if not the winner
