Most AMAZING run I have EVER seen....

Postby Dutchy » Thu May 31, 2007 9:50 pm

Did anyone see Dapto Race 6???// No. 6 Jessica Nimbus started favourite over 724m, walks out of the boxes giving them a 7 length straight, looked like it had cramped up and was 10 lengths behind the 2nd last dog at the winning post the first time, entering the back straight it was seriously 30 lengths behind the leader....and it won but a head!!!!

Ive watched thousands of dog races but that was simply the biggest run I have ever ever ever seen...absolutely amazing

oh that hurts    see if you can get a copy of that run, even in the replay it couldn't win, from memory still 8-10 off the lead into the straight (the final time)

The Mole has a decent share of this dogs litter sister. The dogs name is Just a Weapon but it struggles to run out the 530 @ cannington. It led by 3 into the home straight last week but ran 4th. Very handy dog though and has won about 7 from 19.

Thought the same thing Bayman.
Bold Trease won 4 sandown cups in a row and bcos of his racing style all his wins were amazing considering how far back he used to get each time but just seemed to know where the line was except the night i lashed out and put $500 on him @ 4/9 ($1.45) only to see him miscount the laps and not pass a runner

I remember seeing a dog named Fool Stretch that somehow always kicked away with 20 to go. Whatever the distance, whatever the track. Sometimes you would think it would be overhauled but as usual, 20 to go it shoots away.

It shouldn't have run a place from where it was - let alone win the race.. it was amazing.. I was sitting at home flicking channels and happened to see the race - the dog was gone after they had gone 50m.. it was a bloody amazing win..
