UNITAB V SUPERTAB

Postby jackpot jim » Tue Jun 05, 2007 10:58 pm

My Brother and I are Regular Punters on Gawler Greyhounds Every Tuesday.
I Bet Predominantly on S/Tab and He bets solely on Unitab as he doesn't have a S/Tab Account.
Every week seems the same in that he always whinges about S/Tab paying Better Dividends than Unitab Particularly on Trifectas and to a Lesser extent Win bets.
Today I did a comparison between the two and I will continue to Bet S/Tab.

Gawler 5/6/07
11 races, Unitab Pd Best Win Divi 6 times compared to S/Tab 5 times BUT overall S/Tab Returned 12.6% BETTER than PuniTab.

As For the Trifectas, S/Tab Paid Best Divi 9 Times compared to PuniTab 2 Times for a overall BETTER Return of 41.52%

I Know that Comparisons on One Meeting doesn't conclusively prove anything BUT this seems to be a VERY Regular Occurrence on GAWLER Meetings. I'm not saying that this happens across all meetings on all codes but i have my theories why it Happens on meetings like Gawler (Tuesdays arvos) which i'll keep to myself.

Anyone else think that S/Tab pays Better than Puni ???

I bet on Supertab and NSW tab these days now that i'm in Vic, because Unitab dividends are too big a fluctuation. If you get roughies on the smaller meetings, it will pay 3 or 4 times the other tabs, because it goes off for 50c, however as a whole the pools are way smaller then Supertab & NSW - for me Supertab pays better then both NSW and unitab most of the time...

I bet on NSW for my exactas - they usually pay good on NSW compared to the other 2 tabs
I bet on VIC for my tris / first fours and the quaddie.
I bet on sportsbet or centrebet for my sports (anyone who bets with the tab is wasting money!!)
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

I went to the TAB to make my customary withdrawal today
I had a bet on TOY PRINCE r10-3 for a place
I sat with a couple of regulars and told them that nearly every time I have a bet on
the TAB the dog/horse shortens
TP was showing $3-60 a place on the jump, it won and shortened to $2-60 !!!!!!!![$11-60 win]

UNI $2-60
NSW $4+
SUPER $6+

I smashed the table in disgust and left without even collecting

I do 75% of my win and place betting on Supertab
Why ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Because the local TABS most times pay less than the interstate TABs on local meetings.

Also SUPERTAB caters for me

QUADDIES
RUNNING DOUBLES
FLEXI BETS ON TRIFECTAS/QUADDIES

UNIATB is behind the times
Thats why we see punters on their mobiles on course [like me] punting on Supertab

BREAKING NEWS

NZ punters will be linked to Supertab by about 30/06
JJ that means more in our Quaddie/double Pools :) :) :) :)

8 runners then 2 late scratchings[after you have had a place bet]

NSW = 3 PLACE DIVS
SUPERTAB = 3 PLACE DIVIDENDS
LUNITAB = 2 PLACE DIVIDENDS

Good to see how LUNITAB dishonours the good faith in paying 3 divs

And the Codes expect punters to BET SA IN SA.
They're Dreaming if they think punters are that Dumb to Bet with a INFERIOR TAB like Luni, Puni TAB :shock:
Punters like the TABS are in the Buissness of making $$$$$$$ and they will use the best Medium to Achieve this.

this is definitely true, the unitab can go either way as there are the smaller pools and a lot of big punters stay away form the smaller pools. (greyhounds on a tuesday or wednesday night) can deinitely get better odds on unitab especially in the exotics as most casual punters who put money in just back the fav- so if you dont take the fav you can get some massive overs on quinella/exactas even any2s are worth a go on these nights as a couple of times i have taken the pool when the fav has missed a place.

small pools .... its a joke.....

the any 2 s have to be scrapped on wed tues nights have a look at whats in the pools...FFS....

thats what actually makes the any2s on those nights a half decent investment- as anyone who knows whatthey are doing stays out of them, so the only money in there is casula punters who dont know much about what is going on so they just take the fave with a couple of others- quite a few times i have taken about $40 for my $1 as noone else had a collect. the wednesday morning angle park meet is also good for this tactic.

i think it was light when there was a exacta paying 255 on uni but only about 50-60 on super/nsw

SUPERTAB June 8-11

ST will be betting 104.5% in the win pools for the long weekend

NorMAL commissions taken out are 14-5 % but will be 5-95% for this period

I ask which TAB is better.
Punitab or Superdoopertab :shock:
