I have just looked at the sportbet odds for the sa v na game on the weekend and north are $2.90 for the win. I scratched my head and tried to think whether norths record at norlunga was so abysmal that they should be so long.To add insult to injury south are listed at $1.40! Now I know south are notoriously unreliable so am I missing something here? I also understand that the game is not until sunday, but even so I cant understand the huge discrepancy.

ps I put a few scheckels on north anyway!

It is still $2.90, but I can't see it lasting much longer...I just put on the biggest bet of my life (I'm anticipating I will be able to lay off on South later in the week to guarantee a profit)

Ive just done similar to Ecky, its an obvious bookie mistake, they have simply put the odds back to front....its tempting not to lay off when they correct though!!!! I know of at least 3 people who have had a big crack at it, so I think they might realise shortly!!!

Thornton has them $1.85 each (I still think that is value for North!)...good to see the competition around anyway and they arent just copying odds

Each Monday I make up my own markets before I see any others, and in that I had North 1.50 South 2.50. (Remember that North has won their last 3 games at Noarlunga)

What I reckon has happened is that they meant to put up North 1.40, South 2.90 but simply got it the wrong way around!!!

Now their market is North 1.70 South 2.10

are you going to cover your outlay with a bet on South and let the suplus go on North or are you going to lock in a profit no matter the result? (remember by betting before margins are out if there is a draw you get half the divvie so no need to cover the draw option)

Its good that bookies here in Aust honour the bets made on mistakes as I know some international bookies actually have it in their rules that they can void a bet made on a mistake,,,

I've now had a bet on South so I will make a profit no matter what the result.
