gdp friday,

r1 4 on top e/w from 1,3,6,7
r2 2,3,8,10 with next best 1,4
r3 7,8 on top from 4,9,10
r4 3,4,5,9 with next best 6
r5 4 on top from 5,6,9,10
r6 4 a moral but very very short (rated 1/8) from 1,2,3,7
r7 chances 2,4,6,7,8
r8 on top 2 e/w from 1,5,6,7,8
r9 3,6,7,8 with next best 10

suggested bet(s)
allup
r3 no 7 place
r6 no 4 win

malfair lay
r5 no 8 very very ordinary last start worth risking from harder draw, i have it at 5/1 if its any shorter than that LAY

good luck on the punt, i'll be at norwood oval & having the night off the punt
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

R6-4 ELYSSES CREST is my best bet

HARNESS HARP
-------------

R3-4 GDP FRI NIGHT STAND ESQUIRE
-----------------------------------

Magnificent 3rd to Sokyola last run.
In a claiming race and the price has risen on this horse
Was for sale for $4000 but now for sale for $7000
Is a terrific EW chance Friday night.

LEND US A SCORE
------------------

3 runs for 3 wins to this exciting youngSTAR.
Believe is being set for a classic race at Mildura.
Appeared to struggle last week, went very greenly in the run
However the time to break 2 minutes was exceptional

MONDAY CROWD
---------------

One of the biggest Monday crowds for a long time last week
Was it the free BBQ ?
Was it the chance to win the free trip to NZ on offer ?

STANDING STARTS
-------------------

A leading trotting guru[not G] has made a comment about the Standing Starts in SA
The SS has the horses doing a circle then jumping as they face forward.
The guru has said numbers 1-3-5 jump ok
But numbers 2-4-6 are turning up to a length behind the odd numbers NOT FAIR !!!!!
He suggests the field circles straighten for a while then jump
Makes sense to me

SIMON JONES
-------------

A leading SA trainer has made comment that Simon Jones
is the best junior driver in the state.
MAL has been saying that months ago.

LATE MAL

R3-4 STAND ESQUIRE [$6]
Good enough to finish 3rd to Sokyola[read harness harp]
Good enough to get into the finish in this race
With the scratchings its now a $4-00 chance
EW

R6-1 ELYSSES CREST [$1-10]
no value at those odds so try exotics with the champ.

Just for the record i rated Ulinart a $2-60 chance
So I didnt back it at the short odds

My biggest bet for the night was on Stand Esquire
I rated this one $1-50
Paper had $6 [about $4 after scratchings]
To get $2-40 a horse that nearly beat Sokyola was a GIFT

Thanks for the wrap Joey
You will do well if you keep that up.

Was there and J Ryan on Star City Roller - WADH....
The trainer (G Allen - currently suspended from driving) told the stewards it would be driven with cover from now on.. whats J Ryan do.. spears it out from gate 3 and kicks for home 400m out then starts flogging the horse.. surprise surprise it turned it up...
Morons like J Ryan / S Dyer shouldn't have a licence!!
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined
