globe derby 2/7/2007

gdp monday,

r1 4 will work to the lead & win from the stable mate 1 while 3 or 5 will run 3rd
r2 the change of driver HELPS 2 so i'll have 2 on top e/w from 1,3,7,9,10.....5,7 are from interstate, they are both risky conveyances, the 7 has ability
r3 1,5,7 with 1 top pick, while 2,4 are rough place hopes
r4 2,7,10 on top with multi hopes to 6,9
r5 chances to 3,7,8,9 from 1 then 5
r6 1 or 2 should win with 1 top pick, place hopes to 5,7,8
r7 well the theory of gate 10 over 1800m out the door here the 10 should win this as is clearly the best horse in the race & is flying at the moment from 9 then 1,3
r8 numerous hopes i like 5 e/w with the other chances 1,2,3,4,7
r9 7,8,9 on top with some place hope to 1,2,10

suggested bet(s)
r1 no 4 win (if you can get on0
r1 exacta 4-1
r1 t'f 4-1-3,5
r6 no 1 win
r7 no 10 win
r9 no 9 e/w

good luck on the punt
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

RACE 1 MIXED WITH A TWIST V ELYSSES CREST
---------------------------------------------------
Two star youngSTARS
MWAT Jock Dunlop who is on fire in recent times in the cart
EC with Hollywood Harding in the sulky.
I really like EC I think he is a better horse
Both are stablemates so shouldnt be a brawl for the lead.
Jock should hand up and run the BAYMAN exacta
ELYSSES CREST A *** to win
My tips 4-1-2-3-5

RACE 6 BAD BOY NITRO V STAND ESQUIRE
----------------------------------------

What a race
Standing Start makes it interesting, if BBN steps = $1-33
If BBN is locked in or gallops out, then SE is a top chance to beat it
I think BBN will step ok and win
My tips 1-7-5-2-8-6-4-3

R1 - 4 - 1 - 2,3 (don't think 5 can run a place).. what I will say is that I don't think 1 will hand up (stable mate or not) because Jock drives for the owners, not the trainer - the owners won't want to hand up...
R2 - I think 2 is an average aniMAL and as such will struggle to run a place.. I like 3,5,7 from 1,12
R3 - 1 and 5 on top from 2,7 and other place hopes 4,8,9
R4 - 1 will lead and can improve today.. is a chance along with 7,8,9,10 in an open and ordinary race
R5 - 3,8 and 9 on top of 1,6,7
R6 - no stand start form for 1.. no trial form I know of.. some horses like the new stand others don't.. either take it 1 out or don't have it at all 2,7,9 and place hopes to 5 are the other hopes..
R7 - I can't see a death seat horse in this race.. 1 will lead and be competitive along with 8,9,10 (I know Bayman is keen on 10.. I like one e/w for a new stable / driver combination in the 8...)
R8 - 7 was a $1.90 beaten fav last week.. straight off the fence, it can win today.. making 1,2,3,7 the only real winning hopes (I like the 7 if I can get better then $3.50 - $4)
R9 - gee.. I wonder what will happen here.. 1 will lead 7 will be behind it.. they can both win along with 8 and 9 with 5 and 10 the only other place hopes

Suggested Bets
R1 - 1 + 4 quin (as outlined above.. I think 4 will win but will have to do it tough)
R7 - 8 e/w
R8 - 7 e/w (if >$3.50)

Roughies for the day to add in to multis
R4 - 1 (improver from the draw)
R7 - 1 (again junior driver claim + good draw)

Good luck to all

LATE MAL
---------

R1 EXACTA 4-1

R6 QUINELLA 1-7
R6-7 STAND ESQUIRE [$4-20]
I think Bad Boy Nitro looks the winner
If we can 'robber' $1-50 + a place SE then thats the safest bet in the race
PLACE

RACE 7
-------

R7-10
Looked at the comments this race, dunno if I can agree with the two previewing gurus
BAYMAN has tipped [10] WELL THATS LIFE
Hmn 1800m barrier 10 thats the BAYMANBOGEYBARRIER
My suggestion is dont back it at long odds on
Best horse but this barrier has beaten better horses in the past
SCD are you on illegal substances ?
R7-8 SUNBEAM
Now in the capable Beshara yard
Has the services of Simon super Jones
Lets just say that the trainer driver combination is very astute, but the horse ????
NorMALly I would certify you crazy tipping SUNBEAM but I will wait to see if this
horse has improved on its average recent form

CENTREMAN where are you .......?
