Thought you were a bit unlucky doggies...

the Roosters were really quite dependant on a small few to do their defending and were very ordinary up the middle and on the right edge (sonny bill seems to have been a better player since admitting he has a drinking problem!!)...

Rugby can be quite strange this time of year, with origin stars out this week and in next and young kids getting a go in their place.. I don't bet on Rugby during this part of the season usually, but will make an exception at the right price... the $1.50 on offer for the bulldogs with centrebet was almost the right price against an ordinary team.. but I didn't have the confidence they could overcome 4 bloks out (including their 3 best forwards) so gave it a miss..

Would be interested to see your other thoughts / Bets on League for the remainder of the year, because I think it's probably easier to make money on it then Aussie Rules...

One of the things im a big fan of with Rugby League is the first score bet, so far this year i have been running on a system of putting $10 on the favourite to score a try as the 1st try of the match, these generaly pay around $2-$3 i have had a punt on 20 of them and 17 have come off, not sure exactly how much i have made, but it would be in the region of $250.
The Massive advantage with the NRL in this regard compared to the AFL is that while there is 3 scoring options as compared to 2, its very rare that its not a try as the 1st score, but with the AFL its almost pot luck to a certain extent.

If the dogs hadnt scored that last try last night i think 5/6 would have come off. :(

For Origin i like.
QLD HT/FT @ $2.10
First Score - QLD Try @ $2.20

If you want some easy money on Origin put some money on both
First Score - QLD Try @ $2.20
First Score - NSW Try @ $2.75

Got $20 on the Dogs for the Premiership a couple weeks ago when they were out @ $17, after a couple wins on the trott, they are already back in @ $9, so very happy i got on them when i did. :D

Will put up some of my NRL tips for this week once the odds become avalible.

that little idea worked nicely, had $50 on each, NSW got it so got a return of $137.50, a very easy $37.50. :)

As long as you weren't the bloke who had $45k on Queensland to win.. as AG would say WADH!!!!

Actually thought you were lucky.. about 8 - 10 mins in QLD should have put over a penalty goal from 30 - 35m straight in front.. but that's gambling and go on you for winning I say.... I actually decided last night not to touch it.. for the fact of dead rubber + NSW copping a pasting in the press this week..
