Record short Fed $3.00 not to drop a set!

Already in to his shortest Grand Slam mid tournament price in Centrebet history ($1.22) four-time winner Roger Federer is now $3.00 to sail into Wimbledon orbit by not dropping a set en route to a record-equalling fifth straight title at the home of tennis!

The Swiss maestro is $3.10 to drop just one set – and $331.00 to undergo some sort of horror on-court metamorphosis and lose seven sets!

“He straight-setted the Australian Open, and with fewer genuine rivals on grass, I give him every chance of making more history at the All England Club!” Centrebet’s Neil Evans said.

Federer is $1.02 (1/50) to beat Spanish veteran Juan Carlos Ferrero in the quarter-finals, and $1.28 to do it in straight sets! The big mover in the men’s single’s market is Cypriot Marcus Baghdatis who’s firmed from $67.00 into $29.00!

Centrebet has also quoted ladies’ number one and hot Centrebet favourite Justine Henin at $3.75 not to drop a set in her chase for a Wimbledon title! She’s fancied to win dropping 2 sets ($1.80) ahead of dropping 1 Set at $3.50!

“The Belgian pocket-rocket has never been so relaxed and never hit them better – and it’s hard to find a player at the moment who can take a set off her,” Evans added.

On Betfair Marcus Baghdatis is $2.76 to win his quarter of the draw which would put him in a semi- final probably against Nadal or Berdych.
Mind you he will have to beat either Djokovic or Hewitt 1st to get there.

Plunge Penguin, no disrespect but stick to Netball as Tennis doesnt seem to be your go. Baghdatis was a good thing and Hewitt was the biggest false fav of the tournament.

G you have to remember that PP loves to put multi's on that have a decent return.

I do agree that netball is his specialty.

Fair point lads - I might leave the rest of Wimbledon alone now!! Had taken one multi of Nick Dal Santo to top the disposals of the round ($12), into Venus Williams to win tournament y'day when Venus was still $3 - bit shorter now!!

May take a saver here of Adam Simpson at $14 for most disposals into Rafael Nadal to win Wimbledon at $5 - return of $70 per $1 unit.

On the netball - 3 week break for Nationals, but will be limbering up over that time to steer us into more winners! One tip though - the Melbourne Phoenix to win the CBT at $2.50; well worth jumping on now, I suspect. That is very, very good odds for them. T-Birds out to $8.50; while they have a tough-ish run home, never write them off (just wish I'd waited on them before lashing at them when they were $3.50) :?
