alright lads, after finding the US Masters winner at $44- and making a small profit at the US open, here we go for the British Open, my stable to start with -

Harrington @ $28-
Rose @ $30-
Donald @ $40-
Fasth @ $40-
Bjorn @ $110-
Weir @ $140-
Leonard @ $180-
Hensby @ $600-

as usual Ill be adding as the tourney proceeds

I also believe that Tiger will not win, the birth of his daughter recently will ensure he is not 100% focused and these links courses can gobble you up if you arent 110% on the ball, Im going to take this bet for him to miss the Top 5 -

LAY Tiger Woods
to make the top 5
Risking $176- to win $200-

good luck all

Goosen at $29 looks reasonable value to me, but gee, John Senden at $201 is very interesting. Generally goes alright in the majors - have taken him e/w, along with a multi of Senden to win into Gary Ablett Jnr in the Brownlow at $550.

Tiger stunk it up overnight!!!

Sergio Garcia leads The Open by the same two-shot margin he established at the end of the first round. After a level par round on a day when scoring became difficult, he is two ahead of KJ Choi of Korea.

Defending champion Tiger Woods was in uncharacteristically ragged form, hooking his tee shot out of bounds at the first on his way to a 74, one over par for the Championship. "I could have easily shot myself right out of the tournament today," he admitted, "but I kept myself right in there. I'm not out of it."

out to $2.56 to make the Top 5, could lay off for a profit but going to let this one ride...he aint finishing Top 5

as for my stable -

Harrington @ $28- Tied for 13th 8)
Rose @ $30- just made cut
Donald @ $40- just made cut
Fasth @ $40- 31st
Bjorn @ $110- just made cut
Weir @ $140- sitting 3rd 3 off the lead 8)
Leonard @ $180- missed cut
Hensby @ $600- missed cut

looks like Weir and Harrington and going to hold my hopes for an outright win

just added Jimenz to the stable at $21-
