I go upto JOhnnys counter, hand over the tickets and they have to search the results to make sure they are collects......15 mins later......
I then ask why the margin prices arent up on the board for the SANFL, I then get told that they are on the sheet they print out, well the first one was just head-head prices........'oh they are at the back those are from earlier in the week' I picked up the last page in the holder and it was bloody Japan v Australia in the soccer...
I asked again why the prices werent up on the board and 'the boss doesnt want the prices up on the board. We've been sniped a few times.....'
i then said if you put up the correct prices and made no mistakes you wouldnt get sniped.............silence
but if they are worried about getting sniped again, all the snipers have to do is ask for the price or get a printed sheet and then snipe away.
so thats all finished, i put on my bets, and then a professional who lives at the Aud on fridays, was looking at the footy - trying to get a delayed update so he could watch it when he got home. He made that point to one of the idiots behind the counter (same bloke who told me about the sniping business) but the idiot went and told him the updated score!!!!!!!!!!!**** IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!
