tonight in race 6 mark billinger outdrove david harding over the first 150 metres of the race & this won him the race clearly (it was a $50,000.00 race), for those that didn't see it at the start hardings horse that began quickly enough looked to be in the death going to the first turn & somehow marks horse got in between the leader & harding & drove through & eventually found the front & then scored an impressive & soft victory. i'm sure this will get drive of the week on 5rph on thursday morning & i'm also sure how many experts on this site can not disagree with that.

as for the bookie this was his opening market in races 2 & 4
r2 in $
1,14
2,12
3,21
4,l/scr
5,15
6,11 (ended up a non runner)
7,8
8,12
9,1.80
10,2.00

& in r4
1,21
2,21
3,scr
4,8
5,41
6,9 (backed into 4.60)
7,l/scr
8,12
9,2.00
10,2.00
11,4.60

unbelievable & he wonders why he cant hold a bet

Somebody outdrove Hollywood Harding
And the LATE MAL lost friday night
Haileys Comet comes around every about 76 years
And Don Bradman made a duck in his last test innings

oh & the worse drive of the night was in race 8 when 'kamikaze' smith decided he was driving popular alm & declared the death & leader on for the majority of the race which ended in ruining any chance he had & the winner did a great job, but where did smith run ?

& people have criticised simon jones' drive last week at least he gave his horse a chance last week, but did smith give his horse a chance ? no of course not

Bayman, the market you've posted for race 2 IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. The bottom 2 horses prices are the same as you get in a Head to Head footy bet and there arent 8 other possibilities to lose your cash on.
As for A.G. Smith well the least said about this silly old Coot the better. :butthead: :butthead:

Probably would of won anyway looking at how easy it won, but was still a good move and made it an absoloute moral once it found the front.

As for A Smith he is just another geriatric that shouldnt be driving.

Mals man simmo also wasnt at his best covering a fair bit of ground (although he was drawn 6 so not that bad)

I believe the steward also had a word to Jones asking him what the plan was on website. (the plan was obvious whether being behind borreli or 3back would of done the might website any harm is questionable)

As for the markets who cares what the opening percentage is the best every runner or closing percentage would be a far better guide.
The fact he opened with 160 % means nothing if at some stage in betting he bet 125-135 % which is as around the service you would expect for mine

Furthermore punters complaining about bookmakers betting too tight is almost as stupid as bookmakers who bet tight and then complain about not writing tickets and just as pointless.

I was on course tonight and i know for a fact the bookmaker bet substantially better odds (than the tote) at least two winners, combined with the limit of 2k and the knowledge that if he left a replacement woul be unlikely i think the service offered is ok.
Not oustanding but ok and on par with that offered on other Harness Racing Tracks.

Website had crap form and then won by leading all the way recently
The horse seemingly might be at its best leading
So any driver of Website is compelled to attempt to hold the front.

Wake up and take the blockes off
Simmo drive on Chess Raider
What a joke 3 wide and last
then decides to go forward
where did he think he was going to finish
so much for knowing the form

As for Websites drive not that bad
Waiting for Surgery to come round and
take the lead
it was the best horse in the race

Bayman how can you say billinger outdrove harding?
Agree was great drive, Still not sure how he got through, But just took a opportunity that was in front off him, Sure Harding would of done the same if you reverse the roles.

Hooch
Your not serious with the website drive not that bad!!!!!
Had to hand to first horse(franco southfolk) Much better horse than website plus borrelli doesnn't hand up (Just Ask Allan SMITH, G and Ponch crrect on your comments).
On a bad horse simmo couldn't be to choosey which one he let go to front!!!!
His uses too much energy on a dingo waiting for the Fav to get there. Hand straight up to first option, unless its a complete ant.

Not sure what jones was doin on chess raider, absolute slaughter!!!!! :( :( :(
Swear he was trying to get in Sergi runners way!!!!!

CENTREMAN lets not forget JONES is still a junior driver.

i'd suggest he is sick of you praising him all the time & trying to balance it out, as i'd think you were having an affair with him (simmo) if i didn't know you both

centreman, dk himself said "i never saw him otherwise i would have closed the gap quickly rather than just roll across" so i think that makes it fair to say he was out driven
