Is there any Punters out there that that actually think that they have had the Better of Protest Results over the Years??????
Well i've certaintly been on the Worst side of them over my punting life. The Latest one being Race 8 at Sth Africa tonight. Had a Quaddie going with 7 and 8 in the last leg for a $1 unit. 8 was paying$2,852.70 and has Hit the Line Locked together with the Roughie No. 10. After an Agonizing 3 - 4 minute wait for the Photo, the 8 gets it by a Nose BUT Elation turned to Shit in a matter of seconds as it was announced stewards had put in their own Prorest...2nd V 1st. What Fu**ing Hope have u got when the stewards put in their own Protests???
After a 15 min wait it was UPHELD. F%$@!#&^*()(&^$$#$^&*&* C&%$#%^ of Stewards.
I Reckon the score for me now in protests would be about 5 for, 55 against.
Who r the Lucky punters out there that are lucky in protests??????
This one has been the costliest for me so far but as all successful punters on this site, i'll bounce back.

I tend too agree J.J F--KED if i can get one to go my way . What gets me is if the jockey or driver doesn t protest it should be allclear i think

I think punters always tend to lose more protests then they win........
Im guessing JJ you wont be investing anymore into Seth Efrican racing after that protest result........
it would be interesting to know how many protests stewards have put in and what the results are??????
dont get protests on the dish-lickers.......

You dont get horses fighting , stepped on toes and filled up with water before a race either.

Huh?...sorry MT that makes no logical sense at all, you saying the successful protest horse has no backers?
JJ we all get bad beats, and the thing is you remember them all, however dont remember the times were the protests go your way as its a good news story....playing the NBA is so so very frustrating getting beaten by 0.5 of a point when line betting regularly happens with a missed or made shot on the buzzer....as a few pros have told me over a long season this evens itself out, you will win some of these and lose some
that being said I can feel you apin when it s a nice quaddie like that

I can still remember how I christianed Hollywood Harding.......
I like JJ have been on the wrong end of protests in my lifetime
Prob 25-75 % against
Im sure it should even out.
I guess when the Stewards do the protesting thats even worse as JJ said.
JJ all you can do is take a deep breath and perhaps have a glass of GOOD quality wine

I have always been on the bad end of protests..... but then again I think it might just be that stewards dont like me....

Unlucky JJ, if that was me id be pulling my hair out. I know they have a totally different system of gambling on horse, dog and trot races over in the UK, but most Gambling agencies over there, offer the win dividend on both the winner of the race and if there is a protest the winner of the protest if as well. I lived over there for a bit, and it was pretty reassuring to know that if your horse won and you had been protested against you would still win no matter what the result of the protest. Now i know that is never going to happen here but if it did how much better would it be. And how much more confidence would you have to bet.
