gdp sat,

r1 8 a good thing from 1,2,6,9
r2 i think 4 will cross & lead so its on top from 1,2,7,8
r3 8 a moral from 2,3,5
r4 3 on top from 1,2,4,7
r5 7 should win from 8 then 1,2,5
r6 3 a moral from 1 then 5,7,9
r7 7 almost a good thing from 4,5 then 8
r8 3 a good thing from 1,2,6 (a former glenelg player is driving no 4)
r9 4,5,6,7,8 in an open race
r10 1,2,9 with next best 8

suggested bet(s)
allup
r1 no 8 win
r3 no 8 win
r5 no 7 win
r6 no 3 win
r8 no 3 win

malfair lay
r7 no 8 if its less than 7/4 (will be) lay it as is a trotter in a pacers race

for those that have or will get racebooks the prizemoney for the botra pace is intersting here is a brief breakdown

1986-1989 $10,000.00
1990-2001 $20,000.00
2002-2005 $15,000.00
2006 $8,500.00 DISGRACEFUL
2007 $9,000.00 DISGRACEFUL

& they wonder why stables are bleeding & the professionals have moved interstate, lets face it their costs would have gone up not down like the prizemoney has

anyway good luck on the punt & i'll be off to the wrestling tonight

thanks for the tips dont usually back trots too often find that it is almost impossible unless you have some trotting knowledge that i dont have i am going to try all your tips and see how they go if you are having a bet in morphettville i am confident s.price will ride the first 2 favourites home for easy wins in race 1 and 2 not big odds but should win easy

Im sure all the shorties BAYMAN picked as his good things will aquit themselves well

LATE MAL

BAYMAN has said the trotter is a risk if you can lay it at 7/4 on Betfair
STEFFANYS HANDSHAKE [$11] in the press is outstanding value
If we get 4/1 or over each way is my best bet.
SH made more runs than Bradman last start at Pirie when a luckless 4th
SH is a MALpet and I will be on at the right odds
[7] RENEGIRL however does appear the winner but will be odds on.
SH is EW

Follow the BAYMAN and good luck

welcome JOE SCUDERI [was a good cricketer]

Your right about prizemoney falling but the botra pace isnt the right race to build your case on.

its a joke the race is for 9k tonight.

its a closed race for people who were stupid enough to send their mare to one of the South Australian based sires, surely rather than limiting the Botra race to sires it should be limited to south Australian mares or owners or come up with some idea which doesn't reward you for breeding to substandard sires.

even more if you have a fset of fields (it aint in the book) look at the brilliant free services every runner gets.
notable mentions to lord snowtime who stands for 400 never bred a winner (probably no one stupid enough to go to it) and tranquil spirit who stands for Zero. the owners mise well throw the leg over themselves.

Its a joke the race and botra.

You're right Robber as the list of Sires for the free services are -
Mystical Shark, Satans Command , Whiteland Trouble, Wingspread, Tranquil Spirit,
Lord Snowtime, Holdonmyheart, Not So Cheap, Palis Pride.

None of them are household names and only true Harness followers would know any of them.
The winner of the race gets 1st pick, the 2nd horse 2nd pick, etc, etc. Hardly a bonus winning a a free service that will probably be never used.

Did anyone else think MALs love child [Hollywood Harding], just threw a race away by sitting like a stale bottle of p**s on The Juggernaut. Sitting 3 wide with cover, it was obvious the nag he was following wasnt going to take him into the race as he would have hoped, so all he had to do was get around it down the back straight.

And yeah yeah I know, before all the do- gooders start, everyones allowed to make a mistake. :vom: :vom:

a mistake is allowed, driving is like punting - if you're in form you can't do anything wrong.. if not you can't do anything right... however incompetence isn't and shouldn't be accepted...

When will idiots like G Butler learn where the winning post is... if he does it once or twice (then that happens) but when the clows does it every time he's on a leader and gets run down every time, surely one day you have to learn to sit up....

Thanks Mal - just proves what
1) a good draw and
2) more importantly a drop in grade will do for you...

twice she has now been able to lead for a 3rd to Perfect Trip (hmm... where is STS to make comment) and a win now..
so it's been a good month for her now..
a 2nd to Military and a win in her last 5 starts along with a 4th and 5th not beaten too far and an 8th (where the hopple shortners didn't release - and she has them up 4 holes when scoring up.. maybe Strutter or Centreman can tell us what that can do for a horses confidence... they probably by the sounds of things understand better then most...)

robber, i'm not talking about the race itself or the stallions etc all i'm saying is that tonights race is worth less than the same race 20 years ago, which is a disgrace & it would be pretty similar across the board in this state, oh i know when you pay peanuts you get monkeys but hang on these people are on big money & you still get monkeys (& i apologise to the real monkeys of the world as they could do a better job of organising the industry)
