Well those who ventured to Footy Park today recieved an early Xmas gift
Incredibly John Thornton Sports gave the GIFT of the year
For about 20 minutes they bet $1-40 Port Power v Carlton today
One very lucky punter placed a large 4 figured amount on Port Power
Chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhharge !
Who else got on ?
I know BAYMAN was there today did he get on ??????????????????????????

The TAB and the rest of Australia was at $1-08 to about $1-12

What a GIFT :butthead: :butthead: :butthead: :butthead: :butthead: :butthead: :butthead:

Sounds Very SUS to me.
What was Reason for the $1.40????????????
Did They Find an Old Carlton Team sheet from back in the Eighties that Read Kernhan, Motley, Bradley, Klomp, Doul, Rhys-Jones, Maddern etc, etc, etc thinking that it was Saturdays?????????
Not calling you fellas' Liars, BUT is Very Hard to believe it UNLESS it was a MISTAKE..
What Price was Carlton when Power were $1.40???????????????

Was at Globe Derby and Certainly No gifts Given away out there By PD.
Very Shrewd PD, A Bookie that MAL can't Beat.

PP $1-40
CA $8-00 [from what Ive been told]

As Tom Jones once sang HELP YOURSELF odds CANT LOSE back both !!!!!

100% gross incompetence, but no -one should be surprised with Clownton Sportsbetting....

JJ it was there for a long time, the staff I assume were laying PP and oblivious
to the fact they were betting overs ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

PD is the other extreme he must have been a spoilt child , no gifts from him
And yes JJ I cant beat PD and the LAWMAN at the trots, I just cheat off them

jj, that is nothing a few years back (about 1995 or thereabouts) johnny (only one bookie then) & this was the betting

glenelg 1/4 +28.5
sturt 25/10 -18.5

yes this is correct & dutchy can check with pinchman as he lent me a grand so i could get 2 grand on    if only it happened every week, while on pinchman he & another mate had a bet with sportodds on a sydney v port game, sydney were very short & the points were 45 roughly & they got + instead of - & still lost

Going to Footy Park without money in your pocket is like
looking for a hanson road hooker without a condom

You have to be prepared for the inevitable JT error

He obviously had a stack of money for Carlton come in and was covered if Port won, but needed more money for them to cover the bets on Carlton a bit. If Thornton was incompetent he would be broke. Obviously he's not, so there's more to this than you try to get people to beleive, mal.

I will catergorically go on record as saying that they PUT THE WRONG ODDS up
After about 30 minutes they were alerted to thier blunder
I would say that the staff were instructed to put up $1-14 and put up $1-40

Well,I have used more than one betting booth at Football Park, one would never make such an error, one could.
Care to guess what sort of $$ an error like that would cost someone, mal, bayman?

It would cost the GURUS nothing- they would profit off the mistake.
However, it would've cost Thornton a MINIMUM of $800....
