pafc1870 wrote:What are the rules here?

1. you start with $10
2. you invest your stake on a line bet @ $1.91
3. you reinvest the winnings on another line bet (as practical- ie nearest $)
4. there is no time limit
5. you have to post your bets in advance (in this thread)
6. if you bomb out, you can start fresh with another $10
7. THESE ARE REAL BETS MADE WITH REAL BOOKMAKERS (ie the $$'s are REAL)

this is the original thread to give you an idea of what we're on about

Does it have to be at $1.91?
For eg there's one game on sporstbet.com.au where the line has changed to $1.95 and $1.85 and Thornton's odds are currently for $2.00 for points in with no bets for $1.91.

No, it dos not have to be $1.91.
I guess the only "rule" (& not firm at that) is that you go all-up.
At the same time, I think if you turned $10 into $10k, no-one would sledge you for shutting it down...

Cheers, I'll still kick off with a $1.91 bet though.

Just to keep Dutchy happy I'll have $10 on the Cats @ $1.91 (-21.5) - sportsbet.com.au

can you put the price in as well (ie $1.91), and your stake- this does not have to be in dollar terms (ie you can call it 1 or 10 units etc, & keep private what your investing if you wish)

please note I've edited the rules (in an above post)- these rules over-ride all other responses I've made.
Cheers,

Well I just got up, can you make more than 1 bet a weekend?

My bank $19.10. Cats beating the line continues, wish I'd started 14 weeks ago or whatever it was.
