Old Club Songs

Postby 37nate » Wed Apr 07, 2021 1:51 pm

Currently trying to find a few old club songs which don't seem to be on YouTube. South Adelaide and Centrals both had songs in the early 70's released on vinyl, which had a narration of the club history on the B side.

A few from the late 80's, Sturt had "We are the double blues" (Lily of Laguna, the tune used by Carlton and South Adelaide), Centrals had "Pride of the plains" and Woodville had a song to the tune "Yankee doodle boy" (same as West Adelaide). I only know about them because they were all performed by a choir at the 1989 Grand Final
