I've uploaded the pair of 1983 West/Sturt minor round matches; there's other stuff on there:

Also, check out this channel, I'm in the process of uploading the 1986 Woodville/Port match at Woodville Oval:

So is sa football video archive going to upload more games eventually or due to copyright is that it.

That would be a shame if that's it as they said they had heaps more to upload.

If they can't upload them on youtube they could upload them on the aussierul.es website.

Well someone's been busy setting that up, slick promo video as well.
Better organised than the previous version and far better than having it on FB.

If Footy Film SA took over from SA Football Video Archive I noticed a lot of the videos never crossed over and it appears are lost from the public domain. I was recently looking for a video I'd seen in previous years (under the SA football video Archive banner) and it's not listed. Does anyone know what happened to a vast amount of footage? Legal issues? Lack of time/ voluntary hours etc?

I wonder when the next lot of games are going to be uploaded on the footy film youtube channel. It's been a long time since the last lot was uploaded and apparently there were heaps more to be uploaded. Hopefully these games will get uploaded as a lot of us contributed to the website over the years.

Its bloody brilliant

currently watching Port v Glenelg from Port Augusta in the Escort cup from 1986

Marker Day and Campbell are in good form early in teh season

Glenelg have just gone coast to coast kick mark x 6 Goal Gibbs, Seebohm, Carey West Copping woodlands Goal - bit of preview for that goal later in the year in the Grannie!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
