where are they now? Ex-SANFL players

Anything to do with the history of the SANFL

A guy I played footy with at school was also playing underage at West when Hayes came to the club, so nobody really knew a lot about him at the time. My mate was in the clubroom minding his own business when Hayes walked up to him, tats and all, looked him square in the eye and said something like, "So ... you're the one who's been screwing my missus!!!". My mate nearly shat himself until he realised Hayes was only joking :)

Believe it or not he was a very quiet, placid guy off the field. But many of us witnessed him, in the rooms before games, standing in a corner, facing the wall and working himself up into a state. Definitive white line fever.

Same here.
Accidentally stumbled across a Hackham South Primary School newsletter which had Keith Kuhlmann listed as principal.

Anybody know what Tim Paech, Ray Wilson and Chris Radbone are up to these days ?
3 of my favourite players at sturt who didn't seem to have prolonged footy careers.

Simon Luhrs, former Central District's CHF from the 90's, I think runs a Recruitment agency called 'Red Appointments' - just around the corner from my place off The Parade.

He has been in recruitment for a while now...

Hilly was one of the unluckiest players re injuries and never reaching his full potential! He is one of life's gentleman and his family (I worked with his brother for a few years) were your typical friendly country folk!

Hilly's claim to fame is kicking the winning goal at Alberton in "Sheep" Sanders 300th game - winning after being 5 down at 3/4 time is one of those games you don't forget!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.
