SANFL DVDs (Homemade) ('83 Is COMPLETE -- Image inside)

Postby Dissident » Tue Jun 06, 2006 9:58 am

Hi guys,

Just an update. Last night I got half way through completing the 1983 West v Sturt Grand Final on DVD. This should be finished tonight (At least WCP Hopes so anyway!). After this, I will have completed;

 1976 Sturt v Port
 1983 West v Sturt
 1984 Norwood v Port (History Makers)

That's three different "winners" thus far. I'm getting '93 so that will make the Eagles "winning" DVD. I don't think I'll do any Dogs ones, as I think they are already on DVD? Could someone tell me that?

I would like to do 1973 as well. What GF would North supporters like to see on DVD? What about Port fans?

South Fans - I do have the '64 GF 10 minutes which will go on DVD - it's just not much :(

If there's any Hawthorn fans out there - I am putting the '89 VFL GF on DVD for a mate - so if anyone is interested in that, let me know (with special "Toyota advert Easter Egg")

Also - if I "owe" anyone any GFs - please PM/Email me ASAP as I have lost my list.

D

I'd like 87 on DVD (& 91). I'd also be keen on a copy of Hawthorn v Geeloong (89)

Some suggestions: 1999, 1998, 1996, 1995, 1994, 1992, 1990, 1989, 1988, 1981, 1980, 1979, 1977, 1965, 1963, 1962, 1959, 1958, 1957, 1956, 1955, 1954, 1951, 1939, 1937, 1936, 1928, 1921, 1914, 1913, 1910, 1906, 1903, 1897, 1890, 1884.

I'll be really impressed if you can get anything older than 40 years!

Any Port Adelaide WINNING Grand Final would be good.

I and most I know have all 71,72,87 and 91 on DVD already (I have 2 different stations versions of 91).
There's only one thing we want on DVD, and that's the 72 Championship of Australia match against Carlton.
I'll give ya $1000 if you can organise that!

he he, I've already done 83 and 84 highlights on DVD, the Darwin trip game, 2 winning games against Port in 89 and 2 winning games against Norwood at Norwood in 1990.
Any other old stuff would be appreciate, perhaps if you could get your hands on when North beat Collingwood or Melbourne in 1986 (preferably the Collingwood game at VFL Park) it would be good, I think a regular on the Roost has that game.

And just remember, you're only as good as your last game so we're still better than Collingwood!

Cool, that makes North over 120 points better than Geelong and West Torrens over 200 points better than Geelong.
That's pretty close to the money at the moment!
