As a follow up to GWW, who would be the biggest character/villain in SANFL history?

Possibilities may include:

Super Sid
David Granger
Wayne Stringer
Alan Stringer
Scott Salisbury
Ralph Sewer
Wilbur Wilson
Simon Tregenza (gave away the free kick that resulted in North kicking its only goal against Port in the GF that year)
Bruce Lindner
Klemjens (South Adelaide)
Damian Squire
Gary McIntosh
Craig Balme
Doug Smart
Andrew Jarman
Neil Kerley (who could forget the glass coach's box at Richmond)
Graham Campbell - the Birdman of the Bay!
Alan Killigrew
Bruce Webber

Over to you!

Charlie Fry played for Port in the 1880s and was the 'Grave Danger' of his day.

After years of trouble, he was eventually expelled from the club and the league in 1891.

No list of characters is complete without Bomber Clifford.

LOL at KG Cunningham.

Klemjens was a bloody nuisance at best.

Greg Phillips is another possibility - I could never fathom how nothing could get past the slowest mover of all time! I once saw a praying mantis walk past him and overtake him with quintessential ease.

Doug Thomas would have to rate a mention.
Continuing the Westies theme, Jack Broadstock apparently had a "colourful" history.
Bruce Light had a touch of the villain about him.
Stan Wickham riding a bike across Norwood Oval after previously being accused of needing one to keep up is a fair act.
Don Scott's coaching stint at South rates a mention.

When it comes to characters of the game I always think of the big fella and my fav player of all time Grenville Dietrich.

We quite often say they don't make characters like they used to but Hargs gives a few of the oldies a run.

I had some of these guys as schoolteachers GWW!

I Still remember when a former Sturt Captain and I asked our league footballer schoolteacher why Antrobus wasn't playing any footy for a little while in the 1986 season - answer given was that he was spending a bit of time in Cadell for disagreeing with his significant other. Can't vouch for the accuracy of the response but that was the response that was given and was a rumour at the time!

Whilst unsure about that one (some other North fans will know) I do remember seeing him driving around in a huge Valiant with the number plate "ANT 013".
Looked quite funny with a small bloke at the helm of such a huge beast.
