G'Day All,

A quick post to let you know that images of all state jumpers worn by South Australia (1879-today) have just been published at:

http://www.hardballget.net/state-jumper-history-sa.html

Click on any of the uniform images there to go to a history page explaining more about each design.

There's tonnes of images for you to check out and plenty of unique and long-forgotten SA jumpers.

----------------

For those interested in other State uniforms, this is phase three of a joint project by yours truly (Dave Eastman from http://www.hardballget.net) and Rob Meredith (http://www.footyjumpers.com).

I've spent the past few years researching all the representative, interstate and State of Origin uniforms worn by Australian football's state leagues, now Rob's powering through the artwork.

Other States/Leagues done so far are Victoria, VFA-VFL, Queensland.

All can be accessed via the home page for the project:

Enjoy!

Well done Easty.

Interesting that they went with a turquoise-chocolate brown number between the wars.

I've got one of those guernseys from the early mid 80's. If I breathe in, it still fits!

Thre is a chocolate/turquise one in our clubrooms which many people mistake as a South Adelaide guernsey due to the SA momogram.

Easty: Not a criticism but in South Aus they have always been guerseys and not jumpers. Just a comment.

I have really enjoyed looking at your site and think I have many more happy hours doing so. Great work.
