I doubt he would have done that had there been more than one of him actually.
I think we can safely say that Granger was not a plural.

Cornes hit him first. It was a left to the head.
I was in the southern concourse and had a real good view of it.
If you watch the footage on YouTube, it is not clear what happens because Granger's body is in the way. But Cornes runs to Granger, and it is clear that there is some sort of clash, and then about 2 seconds later Granger decks him. If you pause it frame by frame you can see Granger's head go back at an angle from the hit, but he also pushes Cornes away as part of the same incident.

Granger actually said after the game that "he threw one, he got one back", but the media spent very little time giving credence to that comment, as Granger the villain is guaranteed to sell more advertising space.

I am definitely no Granger fan, but that's going to stop me describing what I saw and remember.

If you get a chance to chat to him again, please ask if Cornes hit him first.
I probably couldn't guess at his views; not sure if a certain story I once heard is true or not, but it didn't leave him in a good light.

Trust me, it's not worth asking. You would not believe where the story goes.

Dave is quite happy to discuss footy and a few other things all of the time.
Just head down to the Halfway Hotel around 11.30am most mornings and you'll get some very interesting stories.

I think I will update this head to head stat, while I can.

Sturt 15 flags North 13 flags.

The first time in history Sturt has been more than one flag ahead of North.
The first time since 1967 that there has been more than one flag's difference seperating Sturt and North's total premiership count (It was Sturt 7 flags v North 9 flags at that time).

Together you have almost 75% of the amount of flags the Magpies have. ;)

At least you can add to that tally though.................... :(
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Over a third of our flags have come against Port as it is, another one wouldn't hurt I guess.

4 against Norwood
4 against Port
2 against South
1 against Sturt
