I know that's why I mentioned it. Also James Boyd was on our playing list of course.

Brock just played in a flag with North and Josh Glenn is beating up people, ripping off country clubs and playing the odd game for Norwood

True, Brock 'allegedly' played in a premiership with North: the Eagles still wish to appeal it ;)

Couldn't imagine too players saying at a B&F night, i think we should sack the coach. Privately or publicly.

The players have enormous respect for Roy. Thats fact.
At times Roys honesty hurts, this newer generation are not used to receiving undiluted criticism.
And Roy is not always quick to change; and when the pressure is on he can revert back to his instincts.
There is no doubt some players are going around again despite some grumbles. Obviously this is a result of conversations between the coach and indivvplayers. Perhaps the coach was able to satisfy the players that there will be changes. There certainly seems to be a view that some very good recruits will be heading across.

Your first couple of lines are so spot on about the younger ranks it's not funny.

Hope so,we've heard that before with recruits then nothing .
A couple of seasons ago we apparently had some on the way but for whatever reasons they never came.
We need to do similar recruiting like we did for the 2000 season or what we did for the 2007 season or a similar position will occur in 2019.
Yes I know that would be hard to replicate and yes it's tough to recruit these days.

Going by the grapevine, there's heaps of prospective recruits considering playing SANFL next season.
