The first paragraph refers to Russell.

The middle paragraph is written about Brian Faehse of West Adelaide....

The last paragraph refers to Russell and his family.

Someone has made an horrific copy and paste mistake.

This type of mistake is not uncommon these days.

All the adverts are type set in QLD.

When I placed a coaching advert for club I was dealing with someone in QLD it was a nightmare.

Deaths notices are really hard to place now as well everything is online.

There is no front counter now at the Tiser to place cash adverts.

When I placed a death notice for the club I would be in and an out in 15 minutes as all the Girls on the Front Counter knew me. Everything was set properly and I had a copy of it to take to the club.

Last death notice I placed for the club had to be online took me several days to place it and get it correct, it was a nightmare!!!!

RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Just watched the service with a tear. Very fitting send off.
As much as I dislike Port, their culture from those days was unmatched.
I even enjoyed the old song.....friggin heard it enough back in the day.

Was lucky enough to work alongside him on several projects between 2000 - 2010.

As a mad Sturt fan I was hard wired and conditioned not to like him, having met him... I couldn't do it.

Great man, great family, a great loss.

All the stories you hear, some of the letters to the editor last week, everyone has good memories and experiences to tell about him, not just the Port Adelaide grannies and footy and media mates. Not too many like that.
