Former North and Woodille player (1957-1970) Barrie Barbary has passed away aged 84.

Barrie played in the 1960 NAFC Premiership team and was also the 1960 Magagrey medalist. He played 221 games, 155 for North and 66 for Woodville.
He represented the state on 19 occasions including the famous 1963 MCG victory against Victoria, named Best on Ground.

A member of both the NAFC Hall of Fame and Team of the Century as well as the SANFL Hall of Fame.
