Seriously, how hard is it to get scores in?
It's all electronic wizardry now can't be that difficult.

if you have the playhq app, you can click through there to get the ones that are streamed.
otherwise if you go to the respective clubs' youtube channel you should be able to see them there as well.

Mark Cosgrove finally signed at Pooraka.

I assume he’ll only play a handful of games while the BBL is on.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he plays 3 quarters of the last remaining games. Handy get

Awesome day yesterday at Para Hills with Travis Wordsworth becoming our all time leading A grade run scorer, his 7011 runs surpassing Peter Box's 7010. Also Grant Carey taking his 500th A grade wickets for the club. A couple of massive achievements In a good outright vs Hope Valley, who Unfortunately looked a long way off it.

Back into the real stuff this week, some big games going on as well, almost every game seems a great match up. We look forward to hosting Goodwood to see where we stack up at Para Hills, the Pooraka V Grange game will be close as will PAOC Vs Brighton. I think the game that could be one of the toughest and closest battles might be Hope Valley Vs PD !

Surely a mistake by the ATCA executive having a Para Hills life member umpire their game vs Goodwood this week.

Incorrect.
ATCA executive are not involved in the umpire appointments.

The umpires have their own association, (I think its called the umpires and scorers association?) and I believe they work with SACA to do the appointments each week.

Apologies to the executive then. Either way a massive blunder from whoever made the appointment.

Surely if you're umpiring at that level you call it as you see it regardless of who the teams are?

I wouldn't think the individual would want to tarnish their reputation, especially when the footage can be viewed.

Exactly.
Call is square and make sure you get yourself appointed for the GF, then you can go really hard and get your former club over the line! ;) 8)

I know that it is a different comp but when a life member of ours as well of the Association umpires us, we are prepared for no favours. I can't remember any 50/50's going our way.

Exactly, KB is the president of the ATCUSA and held in a high regard, based on his scores and his standing every year, absolutely gives us no favours and always acts professionally, play on
