Cricket is a funny game.
You are right that the Kilburn lads missed out on a proper celebration, but that might just be the gods doing their thing.
A little backstory... (assuming my source is correct):
Preseason, Kilburn nominated for LO2 and LO6, then a week out from the season, pulled out of LO2, sliding all those players down to their LO6s.
The association told them they would have to pull the LO6s, not the LO2s, as a bye in LO2 was unacceptable.
Kilburn then said they'd pull both sides, and there would be byes in both comps.
Gepps Cross then helped the association out, put in an LO2 side and in turn, Kilburn were saved and had the one side in LO6, full of guys who should be playing 4 grades higher.
The gepps cross boys had a season to forget, going 0 and 14, only collecting points in the 5 wash outs, while Kilburn inflated their PlayHQ averages smashing sides in LO6 and finishing the year 10&3.
Fulham - idiots, deserve to lose.
Kilburn - whatever, no sympathy for missing out on a proper celebration.
My thoughts go out to the Para Hills boys who got beaten in the semi final by the guy playing under the fake name, and missed the chance to play in the GF.

These 'franchise' sides are really dangerous for clubs. Fulham will now suffer the financial penalties that will come with the suspensions, and the players in question will simply pack up, register new profiles on PlayHQ and start fresh at another club next season.
