You putting your hand up for the next match bomber? It'd be good to have some Rose Park representation. :D I know B.Reidy is keen for the next match.

With all due respect, I think the batting order should be formulated after consulting with the leadership group and the coaches, and not just dictated by 1 person (eg; a coach). That said, The Phantom would be fairly close to the money. ;)

There has been one change to Sunday's line-up - Peter Taylor replaces his Adel Luth team mate Matt Stancl for this match due to illness.

@ benjir - I assume your form is right up there mate and you're putting your hand up for selection??? For your info, Cossens is a dual All-Australian, Holland is an All-Australian from the last Carnival in 2008, Frith made 82no in the corresponding match last year against PDCA and won Player of The Match honours and Atkins has put together several solid years with the bat, as too has Placucci with the ball. I'm glad you agree with the selections of Balding, Gully and Domanski, we must be on the right track..

mmmmm.....you are wrong on many fronts here ben. Frith basically won this same game last year off his own bat, holland and barnes havent played much this season but are proven wicket takers.
Your not looking at the big picture- i'm sure the coach/ coaches use these games to give players experience in preparation for the national carnival. Winning this carnival means everything to everyone involved. The ass. needs to "blood" as many players as they can so that when carni. time comes around there are plenty of players to choose from , hence making our rep. side the best it can be hence giving them the best chance of winning the carni.

Hearder, where will you bat Taylor?

Congratulations to Paul Johnson on his 500th Game this weekend...a great achievement for a bloke that is a true legend and icon of EUCCC who is a great bloke on the field and an even better bloke off the field and i think sometimes some ppl don't give him the respect that he deserves around the club which is disappointing...hopefully we can get the win for him and celebrate after the game what is a great milestone!!!

PS.Phantom..you should come to the BBQ after the game..see what reaction you will get ;)

PPS.Why would you put Gully ahead of 4 better bowlers in that side in my view considering i heard at the start of the season you said he bowls pies
