Bit rough, from looks of it CM have recruited and recruited well this year, its a good start to trying to build the club back up. Perhaps if more people focussed on some positives instead of always trying to bag the crap out of each others clubs then we could work together to make the comp grow... at the end of the day we all want to play a better standard and we wouldnt mind playing more sides would we?

Sounds good. I think that we have about 3 to 5 people that would be interested in playing. Hopefully we can get a game teed up.

That's a good number from the one Club to kick off with. 3rd Round CUSA Cup will be in February by memory, so we'll convey something out to the Clubs early January '09 if CUSA let us field a side. You'd think it would be okay, and certainly in the best interests of our Association and cricket in general to get U21's involved in competition, but we better get it clarified first before we get too excited.. Watch this space!

I guess at the end of the day, looking at the season so far, although players went from enfield to CM it hasnt hurt the comp, retained he same amount of sides, but strengthened div 3. Enfield are hardly struggling and CM seem to be travelling ok. Bit like Western XI & Fitzroy.

yes and i beat you for the bowler of the year a few years back 16 wickets to 15 i bowled with the wind all year as skipper u bowled into wind till last game and i changed it for you that brings back the good days

Most clubs have some quaity guys.. wanna get confirmation 1st on the game, also few blokes who would be around the age but im not 100% sure so i wanna find out. Def some young quality @ Fitzroy.

must say most of the other comps have very very strong squads, i would say young Pidge you may be knocked back a couple of levels lol, i know with adel turf most play A1 and a few of the blokes get coin.. but the experience is priceless, always good to test yourself and your abilities

There is some good young talent at Fitzroy. Will Blunden, Chris Grossman, Chris Kennison, Matt Sanford, The Wiedenbachs. This will be a great A Grade team in a few years.
