The Karma bus is already gone PPL, thats what flattened your mob with in the A grade game! Ben Brown lets his on-field actions speak for him while others from your mob bagged him and South Port relentlessly. Speak up now if you like gents.

A great game in the Champions league between Risdons and Warnertown on Saturday that ended with both teams on 120.
The Wombats far too good in the replay on Sunday with Damien Hill batting well to book a spot in the GF for Warnertown.
Risdons and Southport square off in the prelim this week. Let's hope no one asks to use a sub fielder.

'A great game'? Is that defined by the umpires threatening to call the cops? Hearing plenty of bad stuff & both teams should be embarassed, its B GRADE cricket boys. Wasn't there- anyone care to eleborate

PS Wand v Sollies (I am pretty sure) A grade Prelim 2001/02

Needless to say if you werent there then of course you are in no positon whatsoever to suggest that both teams should be embarassed.

Absolutely sensational performance by Ben Brown yesterday. No doubt about it. He well and truly stood up when it counted.

I am disappointed the police weren't called...would of been funny

Brown did smash Risdons...however the bus might have one more stop if sp need a sub fielder this week...........one team should be charged for a slow over rate with the game not finishing still 7.

long time no talk straight talker

anyway, I was sitting in the newly pigeon poop proofed memorial oval stands watching the game.

It was about 6 oclock....Jeff Twigden (not everyones favourite bloke, which may have contributed to it) had to go to work. He came off in a hurry as he was running late....some Risdonz player went and sub fielded...

this was a travesty of justice according to Southport...especially the big guy with the mo...embarrassed himself well a truly. The yelling and carrying-on was laughable.

Its country cricket....its a sub fielder...hardly game changing

I am certain it would of been raised after the game if Risdonz had won.

I think under Pirie rules you can use a sub provided you have been given permission by the umpires. It has got nothing to do with the opposition or captains. If Risdon were given permission then they did nothing wrong and all the fuss was likely for nothing.

I'm not sure pplions, the 2 top teams in the b grade, 240 runs, 20 wickets, some great catches and fielding, 7 runs or 2 wickets to win in the last over of the day, a six off the first ball and the game ends up a draw to be replayed the next day, that does sound like a pretty ordinary game, I am definately embarrassed to have been part of it, I dont know about you but I think gtg is right again

Slight alteration to my earlier comment after checking. If there are no umpires present then approval is needed from the opposition captain.

Put a name to him Squids, can't be a secret as he would have already played B Grade this season for Risdon.

A player to be eligible for B Grade finals must have played three (3) games in the B Grade team.
() The exception to this is if a club has teams qualifying for both A grade and B grade finals.
() A player that plays in the higher grade final and that team is eliminated from the finals is not eligible to drop down to the lower grade.

We had teams qualify for both a and b grade finals, and he didnt play in the loss to SP, so if you read it the right way he should be able to play in the b grade, but no doubt noone will see it that way
