Is that Pearce or one of the brothers? Would that be Doug leaving the Parkers?

Spot on, Brad Pearce an OUT and that Dougie bloke an IN for Angle Vale

Where's Pearce going, that's a bit wierd about Dougie, he coached their 15's last season, last time I spoke with some Eastern Park heirachy things weren't too rosy out there.

I heard yesterday that Dougie is now coaching Eastern Park, apparently they heard that he was going to Angle Vale so they offered him the top job and he took it.

yep think thats exactly what happened with Dougie, i don't know the bloke so won't comment on his coaching ability but his bowling leaves a bit to be desired.

Yeah Nathaniel Brookes has signed , we use to play together back at Eastern Park, he has been opening the batting for Rose & Crown A grade the last 2? seasons. Very handy batsmen is good at batting at different tempos, he can play the attacking role but also has a very solid defence when required and chooses to use it, I imagine he would consider anything under 400 runs in a full div2 season as a disapointment.

Will add more depth to a top 6 batting order which should be

1. N.Brookes
2. R.Bichel
3. S.Fulton
4. A.Hewitt
5. S.Donaldson
6. Myself (if i can get work of to commit)

Rumor has it Rose & Crown has picked up a couple of players this season, with the departure of Sandy Creek and Two Wells losing players i know Russell Figgalo rates his sides chances as a dark horse this season, what are others thoughts?

Will they be up there or just making up numbers...

they have always been the dark horse... if russell has another good year they could make the 4 and we all no what can happen from there.. and if the big fella [dwayne morton] can commit to his cricket instead of his boat it would give them a bigger chance.. but for me the X factor is mick feltus.. again he is one who would have to show a bit more love than what he shows a jim beam can  and they will be a huge sniff..

The Two Wells players come at $100 per player, that's what Two Wells is asking.

If you are thinking Nathaniel is going to be a saviour your kidding urself. He is a average cricketer at best. He was good at a club that has been struggling. 400 runs if he bats twice in a few games maybe!

I have to disagree with you there, i think he is a very good bat and one of the better left handers in the comp.

Last season he had an average year, but if he is playing div 2 this yr with a fresh start then yeah i reckon he would be a chance for 400...

It's ok to agree to disagree. Brooks struggled against good teams and that's because he is only an average bat.

one of the best left handers in the comp? Is that because he is the only lefty in the comp? I agree with dot he is a average cricketer with alot to say.. Had many a battle with brooks but unfortunally he wasnt at the crease long enough to shut me up.. And lm what is this 100 dollar thing with two wells?
