FLAG

Goolwa $1.75
Youngsters coming up, should make finals for the first time in how long, pressure on to perform..Jim Giddings is getting sick of no silverware and Jon Lobb should be an instant call up into the opening batter mix
Players To watch:- K. Vincent-Explosive....., L. Spurling...Association Superstar...., Andy Evans...Oozes Talent and if he can stay off the piss will captain well...

Mt Compass $2.01
Very good team not sure on the full line-up but with youngsters Ziggy and Jake McMillan in the mix to support old heads such as Shooter and Binns and Co will be very dangerous....
Players To Watch:- M.Nash-Superstar....S.Binns- Solid..

McLaren Vale $2.16
Both great talent and bring there juniors up through the ranks.....
Ifould is a Veteran in which will bowl his 20+ Overs and Bat through, but not relying on him for the game anymore...
Petrucci Brother will be there normal solid self, but do a great job and Put in Every Week
Curtis-Association keeper now and needs self belief for batting
Players to Watch:- Ifould..Gun....B. Wilson...one shot/ Cut Shot, look for him to bowl more this year..Ben Duncombe & Simon Pistilli, good young talents..and will need to make runs as well as they develop..

i can see a few helmets getting the dust wiped off them for this season if thats the case!

lethal fast bowling line up for goolwa if it all works out:

I can say that Willunga Demons have to big recruits in the pipeline! Still a work in progress though!

Has anyone else found it very difficult to scout for cricket recruits over the last couple years? Nobody plays cricket anymore, and if they're any good they're quite happy playing district, or staying put at there country club. And those players who were guns and give it up, are very very difficult to convince into taking it back up!

Add T Stewart to the line-up and they definately are a premiership threat!

W I W
McLaren Vale could do worse than heading out to the ICA at Morphett Vale on a Monday night to scout the talent, not only the talent running around on the netball court but word has it that P James and his counterpart B Thompson have been in sublime form with bat and ball in the indoor form of the game.

Surely Brad Thompson cant hijack the cricket forum as he did the football forum over the summer months.

D&W could you pass on the Brad that his very limited cricketing ability needs to stay in the indoor form of the game!

His cricket ability would only be of any use if he was appointed the C grade 12th man.
BJ you pulling out the willow over summer or you sticking to the links?

Entertaining the idea of having a hit over the summer months D&W but considering my cricketing ability is almost as limited as urs i may scrape into the C grade.
