Supporters invaded in the ground? Haha what they couldnt tell the 7 people there to get off the ground so they could play the extra over? Wasnt it a bowl off anyway instead of the super over?

Walkerville are A2, Pooraka are A1, so it can't be the Saturday comp.
These two teams did play in the Div 1 semi final of the T20 comp on Tuesday, so it's clearly that game.

The game finished in a tie.
ATCA T20 rules go to a bowl-off, not a super-over.

The results have not been entered into mycricket yet, however the fixture has put Walkerville through.

Rocco should know more.

Pooraka lost the bowl off.
Well done to Walkerville, was an intense game, what happens on the field stays on the field and Pooraka have no animosity towards Walkerville, we wish them all the best in the T20 Grand Final on Adelaide Oval.

how does a bowl off work ? is it one bowler or is it like soccer and each player has one shot

3 bowlers, 2 balls each. If tied after those 6 deliveries, then it's one at a time from there til the deadlock is broken.

Not in this case - if there were reports, they'd go a tribunal, wouldn't they?
Sadly those who should stay off the field didn't stay off the field.
As a result, what happened on the field will now go off the field.

Penalty shootout style with 3 players.

if tied then new people come in sudden death.

Extract from ATCA ByLaws.....If teams are equal after the 6 deliveries then the “bowl off” will continue by teams taking alternate turns in bowling a delivery until a winner is determined. The same rotation of bowlers will be used.

Bowl off is a stinky way of deciding a game. Its tough because there is no fair way to decide, should it come down to maybe who loses less wickets on the day? Nah even that sucks. Only fair way seems to be sack races to be held on consecutive Sundays until there is a clear winner

Information that was given to us on the night was incorrect then.

Mind you we were told by the umpire before the last ball that it would be a super over that we would be playing, not a bowl off. Not too sure they had the game under control.

The playing conditions for ATCA T20 games are pretty clear and I believe it is much the responsibility of captains as well as umpires to know these playing conditions. It's disappointing when umpires are not completely across the playing conditions, but it also sounds like your captain didn't know them either and as a consequence couldn't keep his team under control.

Correct....which is probably why ATCA have a bowl off to decide a tie in a T20 game in the knockout stages.
