doesnt always work out that way as my stats are worse in lower grade cricket - go figure - I think Sibbs will also subscribe to that as his C Grade average is 1 ball no runs outs 1 avg 0.00 ;)

There you go again, putting yourself down. Think positive and things may change, I remember you to have plenty of self confidence a few years ago when we played against you

I think that runs/wickets etc in all grades are equal if you assume that each player is playing at their appropriate skill level at that point in time. It only messes up the stats when someone consistantly plays at a lower level rather than playing at a level that tests their skill. As an example - are Gus Holding's runs now any easier to come by given his age/reflexes etc than they were playing A grade 30 years ago? I dont think so - its all relative. I also dont believe club cricket was better 20 years ago than now. I dont think you can say that with any real certainty. I know some of the old timers will disagree... :D

Some guys do play in the lower grades these days more often when they are capable of playing higher because of work commitments etc. Brahma had a few guys playing in their grade 8 team last season that are playing higher this season so there is one example. Then there are the glory hunters.
