Just read Randall's review of this weekends games and have some late mail re: Wandies vs Strykers. A very important player will not be playing...

Normally to assume would make an ass out of u and me, but unfortunately for Strykers this is not one of those cases. They are however quite pumped up and resecured a bowler they thought they lost last season. Time will tell.

Another good win to Matt Ganley's young Wandies B Grade team today.
Who was the very important Strykers player that didn't play Lionsfourth?

In other general Champions League thoughts:
Great to see Pirie West Oval being used at present.
Can Risdonsz get Greg Congdon out to join the Nathan/Chris Marwick and Barry/Leigh Hajisavva father-son duos currently playing for the Tigers?
Who will Cam Hoare play for this season? I heard Props is the most likely destination.
Speaking of Props - surely they can resolve the situation that has led to Randall Wyatt playing B Grade. A premiership captain and combined player. I mean you dont see other combined players playing Bs. Its a farcical situation.
Am i the only person who eagerly waits for the Recorder on Thursdays to see which teams are playing 8 ball overs on the weekend? Or 4 ball overs?
Port Germen's coloured pants look sensational. And so do fluff's coloured keeping pads. What a shame they have to bat in white pads. It ruined the day.
Is Johhny Murphy playing at Gladstone this season?

oh they have fixed the pitch on pirie west oval that was causing safety concerns for everyone last year, good news and good work for getting the pitch resurfaced
would be good to see greg out having a hit again
whats the situation with props? anyone care to shed some light on whats going on, i mean theres a few other players that drop down to the b's every now and then to have a hit right?
was it just the white pads that ruined the day?

Despite the final score the Wandies Vs Strykers game was played with good spirit between both teams. This was good for B Grade cricket, especially with the young lads coming through on the Wandies side. The game probably would have been closer if the Strykers didn't drop 5 catches after having Wandies in a similar position they had Warnertown in last week - 6 for 60 odd. Strykers have already lost Paul Wright who has returned to Adelaide. A few postives include young Jarryd Anderson stepping up to the plate with the ball and Adam Conradi returning from a very short retirement. Lionsfourth is always out for a good scoop and can report that the loss of Paul Wright will be short lived with the likely return of James "the box smasher" Napper for next weeks game.

A big loss for Strykers would of helped them out dramatically.

Does anyone know if that man found that dog he was looking for at the cricket on Saturday?
I hope he (and the dog) are all ok. He seemed very concerned about it. He mentioned the dog a lot. Let's hope the dog is ok.

Paul Wright won't be playing for a while in Adelaide, he has a lot going on he is sorting out and cricket isn't a priority right now.

How did Simon Fuchs go in B Grade? My mail is saying that James Napper will take the most wickets in an innings this season. Also look for a possible suspension in the Strykers vs Wandearah game. Also on the earlier post Cameron Hoare was being chased by Warnertown as well as Kane Wallace.

Simon did a magnificent job of watching the B grade while waiting for the A grade game to start.

Cam Hoare has been linked to every team this season. That is not even exaggerating.

Is that Napper the guy who tries to bowl fast and ends up bowling short all the time?

A player was on a hatrick and the other teamed stopped his momentum by running onto the field yelling expletives. A pretty disgraceful incident imo. ;)

Yeah a Props B grade player told me Simon was playing. Not sure, must be stirring. Napper only played 2 games last year. Was lethal against Risdon. Broke Marwicks box and nearly killed Ciampi. He is very fast and has a good line and length. One to watch.
