 Poor Groover, what a way to start a spell.

Not sure how ironic it actually was....would have been ironic if it was Rogers facing.

played on a winning team means diddly squat, lets face it, people wouldnt say as much to him or give him grief if he didnt open his mouth and say stupid stuff so often! He opens himself up to it.

Bowl or chuck?

GROOVER MATCH FIGURES 7 1 4 24 AND PLAYED ON A WINNING TEAM mmmmm interesting

Might want to check the second dig figures...

Thought Groover was good in the field though.

Good to see blokes hang around and shake hands, at least he talks a good game.

I dont usually to do the controversial thing on here but is that S Scully playing C grade for Angle Vale?

I plan on letting him know he is much better than grade 5 during the next lodge vs Angle Vale game - however I think if it is him he already knows it.

Played grade 3 against him last year and I know why I am playing grade 5, not sure about him.....

There are 2 Scullys playing for Angle Vale, they are father & son. Father is Andrew who is a good bat and son Dylan who is a good bowler and midle order batter.

Andy is probably playing lower than he should be but is out there playing with his son and having a good time.

Dont think Brahma can complain about a couple of blokes playing lower than they should when you guys have a couple of decent players playing in their D & E grades.

If thats the case it would be no different than the two Paynes playing the div 8 side together.

Personally if they wanna play father and son together and the div 8 or C Grade team is the only side they can do it, then fair play to them it shouldnt be an issue, wouldnt be to many chances to play with your son so you would take any oppurtunity you can get

LM - Looks like the game between Smithfield and Virgina was a cracker?

Smithfield will certainly be very competitive this year i think, and will trouble alot of the so called "top 4" sides.

I look forward to seeing the Gardens this week, never played there before and expect it to be a tough game.

Yes it was, I got there when there was about 25 to win with one wicket in hand, Virginia had a fair few players get starts. Unfortunately for us, Raed got stuck at work and didn't get to the game til 3ish, we had to field with 10 and subsequently he couldn't bowl for the day, could've done with his bowling.

Really nice outfield and run ups, just as good as Smithfields, its just a pity about the train going past every 30 minutes and the aeroplanes even more often.

Full credit to Virginia, their conduct on and off the field was excellent and they came in for a drink after the game. A good bunch of blokes.
