I plan on letting him know he is much better than grade 5 during the next lodge vs Angle Vale game - however I think if it is him he already knows it.

Played grade 3 against him last year and I know why I am playing grade 5, not sure about him.....

There are 2 Scullys playing for Angle Vale, they are father & son. Father is Andrew who is a good bat and son Dylan who is a good bowler and midle order batter.

Andy is probably playing lower than he should be but is out there playing with his son and having a good time.

Dont think Brahma can complain about a couple of blokes playing lower than they should when you guys have a couple of decent players playing in their D & E grades.

If thats the case it would be no different than the two Paynes playing the div 8 side together.

Personally if they wanna play father and son together and the div 8 or C Grade team is the only side they can do it, then fair play to them it shouldnt be an issue, wouldnt be to many chances to play with your son so you would take any oppurtunity you can get

I had the opportunity to play with my son last season and it was special. He was batting with me when I scored a ton and we also won a premiership together, so I wouldnt knock anyone the opportunity.
Good luck to them and I hope they can share some success on the cricket field.

Ditto, I got the opportunity to play in the same game with my two sons, brother and nephew last season, in the A's. The season before I scored my maiden century with my son out there with me telling me to settle down a bit because I was getting close.

Lucky enough to have played Grade 1 with my dad, and in a B Grade premiership with him too.

Well done to young Taylor for Smithfield, took 6 catches on Saturday with one of them being a "shell ultra" by all reports.

LM must be a degree of confidence from Smithfield going into this round wouldn't there? High after your 1st round win and catching R&C on a low...

Different player I think

I dont agree with anyone playing at a much lower level than they should -That includes our guys. It distorts the stats and is not fair on the battlers getting smashed in the lower grades. Just my opinion.

They'll take each week as it comes, there's no easy game for us. We just have to wait til Thursday, see who's available and pick our best balanced side.
You never go into a game thinking you'll lose but you don't get too far ahead of yourself either. The boys were just happy winning one in a row.

As someone who has had the chance to have a hit with the old man, I would play any level to be able to do it again. If only his hammies would hold up for a footy game...

like the $1.80 for the Billy Goats

put me down for $50 to collect $90
so if they do the right thing my balance after Rd 2 should beabout $170

They are probably getting done then im unsure, i dont get involved in that side of things.

I just noticed our scores are in but no the individual player stats like most of the other clubs have done.

No probs, the 10/45 that AV took on day 2 shortened them dramatically. They also have decent batsmen.
