Are the rumours true? Heard at work this morning that young Napper is not signed up. Congdons hearing on thursday, Im guessing its at the port rooms. Might be an eagerly awaited decision. Trial might go for weeks though. I hope Napper rumour is untrue coz the plum boys have really been on a roll.

Looks like the mighty Ram empire is coming 2 a close. Middle order looked real weak. Alot of pressure on Carmody and Thornton 2get runs. Scotty Mac leading an extremely keen bunch of lads. Hardaker, A.j, Scott Mac and Hayesx3 alot of bowling depth. Risdons performed better but huge change in playing line up would unsettle any team. Merett played A grade, but was this due 2 them playing sharks in B grade. Ben Brown finally showing his true class.

Mmm... Have just had a look at the PPCA players list released on October 27 and there are some glaring omissions from a few clubs. Maybe a reminder needs to be sent to club reps. Wouldn't be fair to start penalising some teams and not others.

I heard two bits of gossip at the cenny this morning

1. Strykers have a player that isn't registered

2. Wandies are losing a star player after christmas

Nah I believe it's another team that has a player not registered. It's an issue with "still being registered with another team when playing for another."

Let's not buggerise around - the story is that Greg Carmody is going on a roadtrip around the country after Christmas. Can anyone confirm? Gothegreens?

Strykers handed paper work for Napper after meeting. Which means strykers could lose points for games he played in. He did play against risdon. Did he play against bats? We got points a few times for teams not having players papers signed. Players needs 2 be registered before game and papers in score book. What does the constitution say?

James Napper was actually signed up late last season. His form was put in the scorebook which went to the recorder. He didn't play against Bats and the new form was signed before the Risdon game anyway.

Good 2 hear mate. Common sense will prevail and plus Grumpy hates Risdon so all will be good. I know grumpy and he hates them with a passion. Which is a bit biased since he is cricket president. All reports you guys are playing with a real passion for the game.

12.1 (1) All players playing (A) or (B) grade matches must register on the prescribed Association form and this form must be handed to the Association Secretary For his signature before a player is eligible to play in P.P.C.A.
(2) Any club playing an unregistered player shall forfeit the game/s in which they play.

Uh oh, will the constitution be upheld this time???

Does any one know the penalty that andrew symonds received from the australian cricket board or the international cricket council when he assaulted the streaker during a one day match a few years ago?

Not a rumour: After receiving an updated players list on Oct 27th Strykers committee noticed 2 players not on it. This was a surprise as they both have filled out registration, although obviously this did get to the right person. Both players did not play in wins against Risdon and Warnertown or obviously any wins last year because they had none! If someone on this forum is from Risdon please check your list you seem to be missing a couple of good names.
