Although, we may need to do something about this Roberts character.

There is a rumour that his bowling days are numbered as there are a few young blokes snapping at his heals.
And our mate Bill Board his mid year distraction could cost him a game but i have it on good authority that he is having regular meetings with his wife and the doctor to ensure its a Monday or tuesday birth not to interupt his cricket.

Should be a tighter race for the leading wicket taker this season. With robbo not being captain he cant bring himself on to clean up the tail each week :D

Just went onto the Sportsbet site to check the cricketer of the year odds,
is strange 'the Duke' is still listed on there, apparently remains an outside chance (80-1)
to claim the bowling trophy, interestingly is also at EVENS to bowl 17 consecutive bouncers to start his spell, should he return.

Lol. I know that bloody Roberts I'm going to sabatage his game. He won the points cricketer of the year last year. Myself and Johnston won the one voted by the umpires and captains

Bout time Bill Fuller started making some runs. Looks like the turf suits his game, he was inconsistent on the hard wicket. When he is on, he is certainly on.
He has had a lot of niggling injuries but can't see him stop bowling all together. There are some good young lads coming through.
Corey Roberts and his bloody bowling. Why does he get so many wickets? I must admit, I always used to charge him every ball.
It was just something that felt right haha!

How does Tobitt go for Gawler Centrals?
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Bretty Burgess looked to be full of steam last night at training,
delivered a searing bouncer that may have left Kurtzy with a fractured knuckle,
Apparently he was punishing him for desserting the team for the first 2 games.
After the doubters started knocking the skipper, he looks ready to unleash the beast on Sandy Creek.
And we are not talking about the beast he usually unleashes at the bar around 11pm,
though I am sure if the Sandy boys see that beast they might invite Bretty into their group cuddle before the game.
Perhaps the Cockatoos could change their team song to Koom-baya, it would suit the cuddle perfectly.
Norm could play the ukele'le while they sing, what do you reckon Normy?
I remember when the Duke bought his off-key triangle out and played it for the boys pre-game it moved the
boys so much we actually batted out our 70 overs.
You can't argue with those results.

Thought about dusting the cob webs off the old whites last week, but sprung a hammy thinking about it.
History tells us that you don’t need to play all the games to win those types of awards Stewie.
Watching the game with Bundy tomorrow, will see if the skipper can silence the critics.
See ya at the game...
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Norm, can you confirm the rumour that police rocked up at the Angaston Oval today because of a noise complaint. Apparently they received a complaint from neighbouring houses when Billy Fuller edged the ball to the keeper, It was that loud that that noise complaints were made. Yet he still did not walk

I would be interested in knowing who's the one Norm. Sandy and Ango boys have already built a great rivalry over the past two seasons with Sandy certainly holding the wood over Ango at this stage but good to see that both sides can have a drink (or several) after the game together. Should be more of it.

Some good match ups: Burgess Snr v Fuller is salivating.

Non-Event norms still asking for the cab number to get his ball back
And brother brett was all over norm like a rash in the battle for 2IC at the bridge, to be honest he turned norms bat into a fashion accessary
And IMO i never thought i would see anyone slower than kochy between the wickets but i tell yas i wouldnt mind seeing a 22 yard marathon between fuller and koch, may as well chuck in hands as well
