Agreed Smasha. ;)

These things happen in cricket and Gigs & the boys can be well proud of making the GF after missing out on Finals altogether in 2008/09. They just ran into Hurricane Frick on Saturday and once he had collected the first 5 wickets for about 6 runs, the game was effectively over. Good bowling? Batsmen nervous? Possibly both. Dunno.. Who can explain a side making 300 one week and failing to reach 50 a few weeks later? Truth is you can't. That's just cricket, the great leveller. ;)

As for my boys, congrats on a truly great, comprehensive win and a well earnt threepeat. As said, you're all writing your own history right now, with performances that will be talked about for many years to come. A 270-run Smith/Marshall partnership in 2008/09; Frick 5/12 in 2009/10.. All stuff of legend. Well done. 8)

Congratulations to Para Vista, far too good for the Roys, well done lads.

As for the Roys, it has been another promising year, with some more young lads coming to the club and playing in the A grade, and by all reports loving it and bringing out a few next season, so the future looks bright, for us.

Proud of Gigs and the lads that represented us on the day, and look forward to our presentation night (Fitzroy's) this Saturday night to have a few more drinks.
