Renmark knocked off Loxton reasonably comfortably.
John Persinos took a hat-trick.

They always had the runs on the board.
A little scare at the end, but ended up winning by about 25?
That's reasonably comfortable in my books.

They ended up with 210(?) and we were 1/110-odd chasing them down.
Ended up with 192?

They were lucky to get away with it so easily and it didn't help the last over was a maiden.

I reckon we needed about 8 an over off the last 5 or so and Persinos picked up like 5 wickets in 8 balls.

That's when it got a bit easier for them.

I was a bit disappointed we didn't reign them in from there personally.

In another position to win the game and didn't grab it.

Dropped early catches again (3) and we'll never win if this keeps happening.

Mind you, one of the Camplin boys ventured out on the ground in a black G-string to fetch on of my fours and also sprinted out to the middle to congratulate Persinos on hat trick.

Persinos wouldn't have a bar of getting hugged by Camplin in the black G-String. Don't blame him.

Also heard you got lucky twice in one over SS?
Bowled on a no-ball and then dropped.
Bloody good recovery to go on and make 70-odd. Good work.

Persy was the Mitchell Johnson for Renmark!
Campo's a nob!
That was hilarious.

Yeah, Shawyer worked me out with a nice one which I played around and rock and rolled me. But for the umpires arm. I was joking with him before when he was marking his run up that he was over-stepping.
I got one on a good length after that and had a dip at it. Low sliding chance which the fielder spilled and that's when I thought I might try and knuckle down a bit.
Mind you, the bloke who made all Renmark's runs was dropped on a duck too and had more chances than I got, but shit can he hit a ball? My five overs going for 45 was not a personal highlight.

Saucey has been known to bowl the odd no-ball.
Who caught you, mate?

Derek can play a bit. Top bloke too.
Some good cricket trip memories.

What'd you think of him?
The first time I saw him I thought he put it down leg too much.
But he went okay on Saturday I thought.

Ali? Hmm, awkward run up but uses his height well and gets the odd one to jump off a length of duck in through the air.

i will be living in Loxton but will probably make up my mind when i get there. If i played one dayers id prob pay in Loxton but 2 dayers i reckon id either keep playing down in Adelaide or for Renmark. The Riverland comp looks to be quite even for a change anyway.
