Ex premiership player who has made Grade 1 hundreds. Nothing in concrete so I wont elaborate until he decides for sure.

Yeah mate, all 4 clubs stated that we would make it an annual event. Hopefully we can jazz it up a bit this season.

We've signed a number 3 batsman who has A grade district experience. We have a former Grade 1 opening batsman that we have a good chance of signing, a number 4 batsman from the Barossa comp (but he can't commit to every game) and we are hoping to lure a spinner who can bat a bit out of retirement.
We might regain Damian Newman aswell if all goes well.

Some good additions then, is Raed still out there?
He had an average year last season from memory, hopefully for his and your club he has a better one this season.
So you wont be playing A grade this season??

Raed's playing again, looks like there will be less pressure on him to score runs with other contributors around. Yeah, he had a bad season last season, still got 400+ runs and won our cricketer of the year for the 4th year running though.
I'm not sure where I sit at the moment, our recruits will expect me to play A's, if I don't I'll probably just be a non-playing coach, whatever we feel is best for the club, it could add to the balance if I was batting at 7 or 8.

Will be a shame if there are no more firey CR spells !
I still have flashbacks from a late in the day, second innings spell in the dark at Parafield Gardens. You almost took Dave O'Leary's head off..

Thats a big call before any games have bben played!!
Have they recruited others apart from Bomber??
they really only needed one or two recruits to go with their existing team, they had many bowling options, they were a bit vulnerable once you got to their tail though.
