Norm, can you confirm the rumour that police rocked up at the Angaston Oval today because of a noise complaint. Apparently they received a complaint from neighbouring houses when Billy Fuller edged the ball to the keeper, It was that loud that that noise complaints were made. Yet he still did not walk

What was the umpires decision?

Umpire gave it not out so not out it is

Totally agree, official umpire says not out continue your innings. Thats why they get paid to make decisions.

Couple of questions remain unanswered from yesterdays game.
What was GT Sports doing at the game?
Did Gav go in for a beer this week?

For what was supposed to be 2 of the top sides, I thought it failed to get off the ground,
Ango blew plenty of chances in the field and Sandy can bat a hundred times better than that.
The majority of Ango's batsmen were completely insipid too.
On top of all that Normy didn't bring his ukele'le and the cuddle looked a little forced when no-one wanted to be next to Gav.
At the end of the day I left disappointed and collected the Dukes money from the front gate for retribution of lost time.

Can anyone from any other clubs please tell me if any of their players are involved in the up and coming grade T20 comp. I know Port Adelaide have recruited Roberts from sandy and I think kurtz from angaston was going to play but is now unavailable.. Speaking to Roberts Saturday seems he has been extremely excited for weeks so would be good to know who else is involved.

Just for shits and giggles let's make a association best one day team.. Here is mine

5- batsmen
1- keeper
1- all rounder
3- mediums
1- spinner

only A1 grade

in batting order

1. Ben Burgess (ang) Bat
2. Bill Fuller (sandy) Bat
3. Craig Mullins (G.V) Bat
4. Bo Wall (Tan) W/K
5. Travis Jungfer (nuri) Bat
6. Corey Roberts (sandy) all rounder
7. Branden Kurtz (Ang) Bat
8. Daniel Doecke (Nuri) Med Bowl
9. Simon Koch (Ang) spin bowl
10. Brett Burgess (Ang) Med Bowl
11. Clark Kent (sandy) Med Bowl

12th man Ben Klemm (Ang)

Please actually be serious.. High percentage of Ang and sandy players but were grand finalist last year pretty comfortably aswell.

One last thing, how the hell did nuri get to have a crack at representing mid north in the T20 comp.. What a disgrace. Surely the two one day finalist get the chance. That's what happens in every other competition.. I think both sandy and ango would be more than happy to play nuri in a T20

because nuri won thier T20 over kapunda, sandy lost to ango... should have been a quick semi round betwen nuri v GC, tanunda v ango.

on current form... the angry bulls' BLCA team for 2010/2011 is...

1. Norm (sandy) B
2. Burgess, Ben (ango) B
3. Mullins (GV) AR
4. Kingy (GC) B
5. Richie Mattner (LP) B
6. Lyds (Nuri) B
7. Bohdan Wall (Tan) WK
8. C. Roberts (sandy/port adelaide) BW
9. T. Jungfer (Nuri) BW
10. Brett Burgess (ango) BW
11. Doecke (nuri) BW

12th man Mcloughlin(sandy)
13th man AP(nuri)

If i was to take that side away to a carnival illd be expecting to come away with a few W's... bit heavy on the bowling though, although its not the youngest bowling line up ever. But... If i was to pick an overall side, including A1 reserves and players from town who play back here frequently... I would go with...

1. G. Bain (ango/ND)... best batsmen from the district (excluding s.hurn) although not sure if he does come back anymore, maybe days could shed some light on that one...
2. C.Reimann (Kap)... huge presence and big bombs
3. C. Mullins (GV)... all class, good all round performer
4. Norm (sandy)... unfortunate fact, the bloke can play
5. J. Vandy (GV/Port Adelaide)... best player in or around the comp
6. Bohdan (Tan)... the crabman just keeps on going, runs and gloving well.
7. Lyds (nuri)... who said he's losing his eyesight, very good batsmen
8. R. Johnson (Kap)... Just keeps taking wickets, and making runs, soft runs though!!!!! ;)
9. C. Roberts (sandy/Port Adelaide)... superb cricketer, probably loves the game a bit too much, quite scary infact.
10. D. Doecke (Nuri)... probably getting a little long in the tooth, but a great experienced head for young hoffy to bowl with
11. C. Hoffman (Greenock/ND) bowls absolute rapid when he wants, throws the dummy a bit and prone to overstepping and bowling a little short, but... if he wants to hit you in the head... he will.

12th S. Ryan (Kap)... sames as doecks, good bowler with experience, handy lower order hitter too
13th Ben Burgess (ango)... needs to be in the squad, bac up with the gloves and a proven run getter
14th John Lienert (Free)... toss up between burgess 2.0 and big johnny, but lienert is consistent, consistently boring, he can tie down one end for overs on end and grab a few wickets too, brettys probably more interested in what sort of smoo would be floating around the front bar after the game. ;)

I will play the game too

Angry pretty close with my final 11 on current players but in the other selections that you made you are missing young Hoskings who is down town that could come back and play a few games at the bulls this year, I would think he would probably squeeze in as the other opener and push old Joffa Reiman out to carry the drinks.

1. Bill Fuller (Sandy) Batsmen/Bowler
2. Richard Mattner (LP) Batsmen
3. Boh Wall (Tan) Batsmen/Keeper
4. Burgess, Ben (Ango) Batsmen
5. Brett Lydeamore (Nuri) Batsmen
6. Aaron King (GC) Batsmen/Bowler
7. Corey Roberts (Sandy) Batsmen/Bowler
8. Travis Jungfer (Nuri) Bowler/Batsmen
9. Daniel Doecke (Nuri) Bowler
10. Lance Kent (Sandy) Bowler
11. Brett Burgess (Ango) Bowler

12th man Ty Stock (G/C)
13th man Andrew Prior (Nuri)
