From a quick look Id say only the A2 game might be a close one.

I want what you're on, Pistol! Although i reckon it may be slightly competitive, Meadows will win yet another flag.
A2 should be a cracker, trust me to miss the year the boys win an A2 flag, I back the Gate in for that one. Will be VERY hostile if this year's previous meetings are anything to go by.

Will pop my head into the valley at some stage over the weekend as it's just around the corner from me. Could easy be a game that has to be won over 2 innings on that rubber pitch which after playing on it recently hasn't changed one bit and is a prick to bat on if the bowlers are bowling good length. 150 could be a winning score.

Cricket grand finals are a different kettle of fish, Meadows too good and smart in the A's. The rest could go either way from what i have heard.

Can only really comment on the A4's first hand and Uraidla will win easily, not 1 unfit and fat bloke in the team, really goes against the theme of D grade cricket! :)

Agreed, it's a prick! 150 will do it in a grandy.
Meadows will hammer Bridgey.

You knob. Granted, that score is abominable but throughout the year there would have been at least 3 blokes under 22 getting blooded in that team. A2 is 50/50 for a flag & D grade had a very competitive year then faded in the semi. Fielding 4 teams & making 3 sets of finals...yeah, you'd never take that.

winning flags count, not just making finals, no-one remembers or cares about who finishes second, blooding young kids is great but at the end of the day, after making just 19 in a final, they need to do a big review in the off season and shake things up a bit surely.

Winning flags definitely count more, that's a given. But if you have grades making finals & you do a 'clean out', how does that help? Does that then mean that only 4 clubs DON'T do a cleanout next Monday?
I wasn't there, I can't explain the 19. But I enjoyed playing there & I know a lot of blokes do. hey, if your club in these tight playing number times has the luxury to turf people, good luck.
