R11 - Lost to Nuriootpa by 3 runs.
R10 - Lost to Gilbert Valley by 11 runs
R9 - Lost to Freeling by 21 runs
R8 - Lost to Angaston by 27 runs

Speaking of youngsters playing A Grade cricket do Gawler Central players Chris Bilney, Dave Miller, Matt Ness, Matt Perry or Jordan Shephard qualify for that list?

Are finals played at the Dog track?

Depends if its too wet at a turf venue on the day of the final, then it might get changed to hard wicket but the teams wont know until midday of the final? Isn't that the way it works?

I may have got ahead of myself assuming you would see finals action

It was a really weird day at the dog track and if you had told me at the start of the day that there would be a result at the end of it i wouldve laughed. GC looked like they thought it was a one dayer batting very aggressively and played some pretty flashy shots. Lots of knicks through to the keeper. Sets up an interesting days play next week with GC looking for the reverse outright, bowling could be a challenge

All the Gawler Central posters hiding under a rock this week?

The talk last night at training was Sandy to declare overnight, knock em over again for a similar total and be watching the races by about 4pm from the lofty heights of top position.

Had a look at MyCricket and it looks like you'll be able to sit on the concrete terraces and take in the dog track atmosphere over a couple wicked wings and a large coffee frappe.

Does that mean the rumours of a big injury forced retirement in the BLCA are around the mark ?

Fair chase by LP, sends Nuri back to the bottom.
GV hitting their straps and now in the 4, top 3 look safe

I reckon if you ask most clubs that play there, stocky is almost always a good batting deck. Roller this week had nothing to do with it.

Nah I wouldn't have thought so given the ladder positions of the respective sides going in to game.... was an exciting finish however.... and crucial.

Light Pass hitting their straps just in time to take on the easy beats of the comp ;)

A massive 4 weeks coming up for Nuri, Light Pass and Kapunda.

Nuri face Sandy Creek (H), Angaston (A)
Light Pass- Gawler Central (A) Gilbert Valley (A)
Kapunda- Angaston (H), Gawler Central (H)

All 3 have tough draws, it could be possible none of them win a game, going to come down to bonus points, all games will go the full 150 overs.
Kapunda in the box seat being 2.50 points clear. Only 0.70 between LP and Nuri

Dont care about the ladder positions when was the last time you chased 315 successfully?
Especially knowing it was relegation assured has you lost

I guess I see a difference between best and most important as it was curtains otherwise.... No doubt most important for a long time.

Very interesting last two games and light pass will be hoping vandy is still getting married last round of the season and invites all his team mates. (If I heard correct)

yeah thats correct, if they are safe from relegation which they should be you would be $1.01 faves to win that.
Worst case scenario for you guys is they are only missing the 2 Vandy's

Well personally I'm hoping for kapunda, Gilbert valley, nuri and light pass to get up this round and freeling, kapunda, light pass and nuri in the last round.

Would leave all eight side even on seven wins with only % sorting it out if my maths is correct.

Yep you would be correct, what an amazing season we are having.
Maybe South Gawler and their shithole with a 6ft pitch don't deserve to replace anyone.

Should be a condition of them coming up that they need to put in an 8ft pitch perferably made of dirt
