It was a Salisbury West word, I played one D or E Grade game for them in around 99/00 as a fill in as I hadn't played anywhere that year, Blondie was the captain and he used it for everyone under 20 in both sides.

He was able to make it sound like a pay out or a compliment by the tone funnily enough.

Two Wells will be hard to beat with Luke Harris, Daniel Coombe and Scott Graham in the lineup.

Harris will have 500 runs by the end of the season.

750, he'll get a double hundred somewhere along the line, good to see them back in the real comp.

Enfield Cs after being rolled for 40 odd batted out the day putting on 260 in second dig against two wells quite impressive against some of the bowlers you mention. Scott blundell is a huge in for atco he will take 40+ wickets.. jnr baldo with a massive score first up 255 off 157 went blitz on that mini ground of there’s.

Only guessing so I apologise if I offend anyone but I wouldn't be surprised if the situation was something like.

Virginia win on first innings
EP want to call the game early due to losing or potentially having somewhere else to be.
Virginia want to keep playing and accumulate points.
EP not allowed to declare at 0/0 so face an over, declare. Let Virginia get the runs and then pack their bags and leave.

I wonder if North Pines have ever beaten Westies in Grade 1 before?

Dion Lucas looks to be a fair pick up for the Redbacks, a bold decision to finish play with 19 overs remaining, could prove costly at the end of the season.

Virginia just continue to get the job done no matter who's in their side, a very weird situation there though in their game against Eastern Park.

Dublin looms as a massive threat as they thumped NEK.

My spies suggested that Angle Vale were trying to drop down a grade, with Kelly, Carman, Meredith, Townley and my man Pogas out there, it was never going to happen, a good positive start to the season by the Gardens though will lift their confidence heading around the corner for their round 2 clash with NEK.

That would seem the most likely situation, it will be investigated though and I'm sure more will come out of it.

Really surprised to hear that from AV and pretty soft to be honest.

They will beat NEK, be competitive against the like PG, NP, Dublin, EP and maybe struggle against SW and Virginia, but with the names you mentioned they are never going to be too far away.

You would think only EP could be punished if something was fishy. Virginal could beg and beg and beg EP to make a game of it with a generous declaration but its EP who make that choice.

So was I, it could've been third hand info though and with those names playing I find it an odd request.

Maybe they weren't going to have some of those names until forced to play in div1. Im sure the likes of Lingy and Meredith wouldn't let AV get belted week in week out.

I hear Eastern Park have been stood down for the next two weeks - PDCA enforced forfeit.

Whispers arising they may shut the doors and all piss off to join Woody at Units.
