Im not sure thats correct, HCA has an 8 team A grade comp that has 7 strong teams, and allows a mixture of one dayers and two day games. Making it a 10 team comp with 2-3 weak teams would not make it stronger.

Rumours of the TVCA teams moving possibly to HCA also, going to be a busty winter for the HCA committee! But with all due respect I dont think the HCA needs more teams. On top of the 8 A grade clubs there are 3 more clubs where their top team is in B grade (Valleys being one) adding a couple more clubs would be a logistical nightmare IMO.

,why would a club bowl a team out in 28 overs then choose to bat,or should i say slap,no batting practice there maybe give the lower order a bat,no that didnt happen, bat properly looking forward to finals,no that didnt happen. What was it then?Chasing trophies?[/quote]

spot on it, anyside would make 300 when everyone in the team bowled. the guy who opened the bowling for seaford has bowled 4 overs in 4 years, the second innings was treated by seaford as it should have been, an absolute JOKE not to send them back in to bat.

Why shouldnt Noarlunga have batted on? Their not in danger of missing the finals, even with an outright victory they stood very little chance of takin top spot from port so why not bat for the remainder of the day... Seaford chose to bowl part timers dishing up pies although with the exception of Roger they do anyway

Why would Cove want to come back after one season doesn't make sense.

Seaford have always fought amongst each other and until they get some silverware and a clubroom people aren't going to take them seriously, are they the new Sullies:)

Players shouldn't be abused for having the grapefruits to go and play district cricket, too many SCA players want to be big fishes in a small pond.

Cove will not be coming back

Maybe the Seaford lads are just upset that they had to wait an extra 30/40 overs before they could have a visit in the van

With the Port pitch turning as much as it does these days it might be time to bring back Patto.

Tips this week:

Porties V Noarlunga = Porties will be pushed but should get over the line
Flaggies V Kangies = Kangies, backing them to bounce back this week

Noarlunga V Noarlunga = Irrelevant
Porties V Kangies = Porties to find some form with the bat and post a big score

Ahmadiyya v Flaggies = Ahmadiyya
Noarlunga v M/Vale = M/Vale

Instersting to note, the only club with multiple sides not playing any form of finals.... Seaford

On the plus side they should get a few priority draft picks
